| No more soda Im not drinking pepsi anymore. And its killing me. Ive gone 4 days so far and Im still having withdraw symptoms. I use to drink 6 to 8 cans a day. Now its water or a SMALL glass of chocolate milk. Im doing it because Im at my heaviest weight ever. I hope it helps me lose 5 pounds or so and of course feel better. But for now Im dying! |

| Good for you! I have heard you can lose that much just by cutting out the soda. I need to lose a little weight and My Dr Peppers are the biggest thing I dont want to give up. Just stay strong it will be worth it

| Way to go and good luck I gave up soda 7 years ago when I was a sophomore in highschool. I was never at all overweight but I did actually loose a little weight after I stopped drinking them. I normally drink water, milk, juice, tea, or something like crystal light. Because I don't drink soda, I don't feel bad about all the sweets I eat I will very very rarely have a soda..maybe a couple times a year...and it's normally like a cream soda or specialty soda.

| how about diet pepsi?? down here the big thing is sweet tea, which I love!! a lot of juices are loaded with sugar, so always check those out if you're drinking them..the best thing is water..if you're like me, it's hard to drink it though.. |

| The juices I really like are the Simply juices....Simply Orange, Simple Apple, and Simply Grapefruit. They are 100% juice - nothing added...basically fresh squeezed juice. They are sooooo good! I'm drinking the apple juice right now. It's like eating a really tasy apple.

| I gave up my Mtn. Dew addiction (6 or more cans a DAY) about 5-6 years ago. I just stopped...cold turkey! It was hard at first, but I didn't have a very difficult time w/ it...now, I can't even have a sip of a "soda" without it making my sick at my stomach (I accidentally grabbed my daughters cup one day and it had her coke in it, it was NASTY)! I didn't loose ANY weight when I quite. I wasn't really looking to, but that would have been a plus....I had people telling me they lost anywhere from 5-10 pounds, just by not drinking a "soda". Well, that wasn't true in my case!

Donating YT 11K Club Member | That is great! I also gave up soda a while ago. I gave up reg. soda and started drinking diet like coke zero but now i gave it up completely. Now i drink only water, or natural juice, like i will make the juice myself from organic fruits. I suggest getting a juice maker, it's much better for you than buying the juice that has all the bad sugar in it.

| really? I love it. It tastes just like an apple to me, whereas most apple juices don't. But I guess we all have different tastes. Yes, 100% juice does still have a lot of sugar in it because fruit has a lot of sugar in it...but it's a lot more natural sugar than high fructose corn syrup.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Maybe that's just the natural sugars in the fruit..

| I've cut back to 1 can of Diet Rite Zero a day. I am trying to drink lots of water. I get major headaches with any other diet soda. I have a juice machine that makes the best Juice in the world. I make a couple of glasses of carrot/apple a day and it is the best!! I love cantalope juiced too, and the fresh orange is to die for!!! |
