Don't give up hang in there. You are allowed and entitled to have a yorkie of any size that you want. Being too small or too large is just a fault against the perfect yorkie that only exists on paper and in each breeders mind. I have people who call and what a large Yorkie. They have active kids want the breed but a sturdier size. puppy. Do I help them you bet I do. I am happy to help them find the right kid for them. Do not let anyone on this or any forum make you feel afraid to post and share your views. Wnalegria

| ![]() Oh my god - I missed it again - haven't seen any stupid replies at all...I must be blind...but then again, I am Danish and we have a somewhat different tradition when it comes to communicating. Most of the people I know can have a heated debate, argue and get really upset and still love each other. So maybe I don't see the posts you are referring to. It might be my own for that matter *lol* I am sorry if someone felt attacked, but please remember - if someone is doing something that you think is an attack, it might be because they felt attacked and it can be solved by trying to clear up those things ![]() Quote:
Please expresss yourself for you are a very special and wonderful person and those who truly love you will love that side of you also ![]()

| ![]() This is Uncalled for!! ![]() Anyway SoCal you are a horrible person for giving this place which may or may not be a puppy mill the benefit of the doubt. If you see anyone in possesion of over 10 dogs, even if it's on a bunch of acres and in what seems to be humane conditions you better automatically assume it's a puppy mill. Even if you don't believe it say it or people here will actually wish your dog dead, (can you believe that?) And I am a even worse person for agreeing with you. Who are we to have an opinion. |

![]() What I am REALLY posting about is - out of curiousity. I didn't know that the YTCA has made any comments good, bad, or otherwise against forums. Who said this and where? In the newsletter?

| ![]() I agree wnalergia and I have posted many lengthy lectures on being civil and having respectful debate and discourse since joining this forum in March. I think admin is trying...I really do...but it is a hard job and I recognize that. Plus admin has his own vews and as a human being he is human and is not any more perfect than the rest of us. I liked the zero tolerance rule and the rule against cruel posts with the consequence of a suspension or a ban. The problem with enforcement of those rules is that they are judgment calls and very subjective. I have seen posts that, imo, were really mean and cruel go unpunished as well as perfectly civil posts, merely expressing an opinion, deleted because it might be controversial or some other subjective reason. I am who I am and I respect everyone and their point of view but I draw the line at personal attacks. I do not tolerate them and neither should any of you no matter how passionate or controversial the subject. The subject matter is no excuse. It is uncalled for among civilized human beings. I don't understand the need to be negative or to judge without all the facts and this is why I tend to give those atacked the benefit of the doubt. If I am proven wrong, I accept that and am sad that, once again, my belief in good over evil, has been chipped away at. I am not a pollyanna, but I do have legal training nd experience which makes me able to see that there are always as many sides to a story as there are people involved. I take things at face value unless I am shown the proof to be the opposite. It is, for me, the right and fair way to operate. It is sort of like the basis of our American system of justice where "Everyone is innocent until proven guilty". |

|
See - this is - if you don't mind me being a psychobitch - not good. Confrontation is part of life and anger also and we must all learn to deal with that in a loving way that is containing. If you always avoid anger, confrontations etc, you might end up eating more than you need and being overweight, drinking, getting depressed or other unpleasent things - to numb yourself. ********************* Just stating facts: Im not overweight, an alcholoic, or depressed. Just someone that has been there more times than once and wants to be no part of it. Some like to debate like there's no tomorrow and that's OK for them. And then there's those of us that don't. We all need to try to take a neutral approach. I think alot is learned in debates of different topics, we learn who has which 'hot button'. I wonder if we tried not to push them if things would not get so personal. We need to appreciate each other for who we are. It's not fair to say my personal preference of staying way from heated discussions 'is not good'. It works for me. I know myself I can get caught up in it and I don't want to or have the time to. I know what I believe in my heart and that others may believe different. That's all I need to know. I am happy to discuss anything and share my point of view but in my old age of 32 I learned to STOP there!!!...LOL ![]() ![]() Hugs, Irene |

| ![]() I do hope everyone will continue to post their heart felt feelings about the subjects here. We know a few subjects fire starters. Fast Eddie has stated the admin/forum position on Puppymills and that should end the sujbect. I would not go to a commerical site and talk about commerical breeders. Hopefully, we can do the same. As to YTCA...I have never seen anything in writing and you will not. Regional clubs unspoken rules are the same as YTCA. Not all agree and many have seen the need to belong and help out when they can. Others do not want to take the chance of being lumped with so called pet breeders. I started breeding before I showed..so to some I will forever be a backyard breeder. I do not care and like belonging to this type forum..it is fun, most showlist are a bit serious and dull..imo. I think there is room for many different types to join. Last edited by YorkieRose; 07-12-2005 at 09:04 AM. |

| ![]() I wholeheartedly agree with you. I hesitate to post on some topics particularly iwhen speaking about where to buy a puppy as it seems to make some quite angry depending on which side of the fence you are on. Most of the time I enjoy reading the posts and conversing with everyone, but lately I have sat back and wondered if maybe I shouldn't bother joining in the posts for fear my opinions might set off a war of words. I just know some of the newbies probaly get scared off after reading some of the things said here and that is a real shame because there is some good information to be found here. |
