When I went in I wanted the Wellbutrin my insurance would pay for it too. But the DR said that the Chantix was the best and I should go with it...

I forgot to add earlier The Dreams on Chantix can be really Vivid They were for me.. Most were good and Fine but I did have a few scary ones...

Yes it is and I feel like a complete idiot leaving my organic market and lighting up a cigarette!

Researching organic cleaners and pesticides while smoking.

Ugh! I can't wait to be smoke free.

I've heard that about the dreams. If I can just quit smoking without driving my family crazy I'll take whatever.

Isn't it silly that insurance will pay for Wellbutrin and not Chantix? I guess they'd rather pay for cancer or emphysema treatments?

You're not supposed to try to quit unti it gets into your system. I'm not going to think about it the first week and the second week I'm not going to allow myself to smoke while driving or talking on the phone- my chain smoking times (along with wine but I gave that up too).

After 2 weeks- no more!

The worst for me was as soon as my feet hit the floor I wanted it along with my big mug of java!!! But I give up cigs & coca-cola I absolutely would not function w/out my coffee!!

I understand that! I gave up diet coke which was a biggie but still want that coffee in the morning. I have no intention of giving that up. A girls got to have something!

So far so good.

It hasn't curbed my smoking but it hasn't made me sick. My Dr. said to not even try to cut back the first week while it got in my system so I haven't. Tomorrow I start the 1 mg pills so we'll see. When I start those I'm not allowing myself to smoke while on the phone or while driving which is when I tend to chain. One week from tomorrow is my quit date.
