Dena I am Sure you can If you REALLY want to but you have to Really want it. I did And Feel Great. I have only been smoke free since august 17 or 18 but Let me tell you when it has been a Year I will be Jumping up and down and Having a party to celebrate! I feel so great now

Lori, I am so proud of you!! You didn't tell me you quit, but I heard it thru the grapevine and I am so incredibly proud of you!!! that is awesome!!!

Nikki...you can do this. I know it. It must be incredibly hard (I am blessed to not know) but you have a lot of support here, and I can tell you want to do this...and I think that is the most important thing. to REALLY want it.

Thank you y'all. For the record it is sooo much easier with the Chantix. Way less physical symptoms but still, its so hard and I really miss it!!! ICK! Addiction is sucky! I'm so glad I'm not smoking but at the same time I really miss it!

I'm so happy for you! Because of your thread that I've been following I got a prescription that I will be filling over the weekend! Any tips on the nausea problem some are having? I get sick on just about any pill so...Also, are you having any dreams?

Me being right where you are just a few months ago I Know JUST what you are going though.
I also have a GF that is now I think at the one week point.
just two days ago I had to bring her a Chantix (she forgot hers at home.)
Ya just have to think of how Great it will be to.
Not spend that money
smell EVERYTHING
Smell Good.
Be healthy
save the others around you from Breathing your smoke.
not crave it anymore
your house smells better
your clothes smell better
your car smells better.
I can go on and on lol

I was sooo sick for a few days (maybe 4-5 days). The dreams are still almost unbelievable. I'm really tired all of the time because I spend all night dreaming. I would still do it all over in a second. This is the easiest I've ever quit. The physical withdrawal synptoms are almost not there at all. Its all mental- which still sucks but is do-able.

See if she'll try chantix. It sucks so bad at first but... well yeah stopping sucks!!! It is really much easier with the chantix. (stupid mf chantix!)

Just remember that a person has to quit for themselves and no one else. If they quit for someone else, they usually find a reason to start again. I am currently on day 75 of being smoke free!
