I think a little area in a corner or something with peepads would be good. At the meetups i go to that's what they do and all the dogs go potty there. As for a little play area, i think it would be good to have like a closed in area by a large xpen or several so that those that want their dogs to socialize can put them in there. It should be pretty big and spacious for them to run around, i think that would be better than just letting them roam all around the ballroom so that they don't get stepped on, etc. For the people that want to put them in the play area they should watch them or just stay close by to keep an eye on them. btw where will be the meet on friday for all the dogs? |
Our drive is going to be 8 or 9 hours or so I think! Im working on the road trip cd now!!!! |

If anyone has an extra vinyl shower curtain laying around, we could bring a few of those, and put those down on the floor under the x-pens if we link them together in the hotel. That way, if there are any accidents, they are easily cleaned up :) Just an idea! I can't wait you guys! I'm so excited!!! |

S^*t!!! I just saw "Daisy_Mae"'s post and 18 hours??!!! No way we're driving! I'm sorry Sarah...change of plans..We're def flying!! :) Maybe we can do the same flight? Newark? :) |
It's a 12 hour drive from where I am in SE Michigan. I'm planning on driving and hoping to carpool with a few other YTers to share the load. I'm thinking of renting a van wo we have plenty of space for us, furkid carseats and luggage. If 3 or 4 of us pooled together, this is very doable. Perhaps even leaving Thursday and staying someplace inexpensive to break up the drive and same thing on the say home Sunday. The route would go through Ohio/Indiana (I75S to I69 to I70W) to right around Indianapolis before heading onto Missouri. I think Cyndi will drive with me, but given a large regular mini van size, we could still take a few more................ |

I sure hope there are no dogs marking in the halls as was mentioned earlier -- as that tends, to lead to every male thinking they need to do so. Guess we better pack some Nature's Miracle -- or maybe we could get them for a vendor :D |
