I think I have a pet photographer lined up. As long as we get 50 people, he is willing to make the trip from Michigan. He is not just a professional photographer, he is a professional PET photographer and does fabulous work at reasonable prices. So keep those registrations coming!!!!!

That would be fun...... I Do hope that there will be enough people to sign up...... I have my hotel reservations... and will be registering after Christmas (before the fee goes up). There were so many that said that they were going that I was hoping to meet! It would be fun to have 100 or more yorkies!!

I'm planning on coming to this meet up. With Xmas and all, I just don't have the extra money to register. If I pay the fee without the dinner, can I upgrade at a later date?

Maybe we could take groups pics, like with the people you travelled with or some new YT friends. That way you can split the cost of the sitting.

If 50 people come, there is a very good chance that many of them will want photos. It doesn't matter how many doggies as his prices are his prices regardless of the # of subjects!!! For those worried about cost, he usually has a show special - 4 5x7's of any pose(s) for $45.

He has an assortment of props he brings and he usually has a small table he puts the doggies on when he knows it will primarly be small dogs. There are also tons of other products you can purchase with your photos on!!

Yes - If you want to register now without dinner, you can upgrade later, but please note:

1) The additional upgrade price owed will be the difference between the price already paid and the current "registration with dinner" price in effect at the time of the upgrade.

2) All upgrades MUST be made by June 1, 2008.

I am planning on bringing both Mojo and LilyGrace. Course, Lily is a barker...we are still working on that....but I don't think that will deter me from bringing her.

Speaking of vendors.....just throwing an idea out there....can't remember if it was discussed already or not......if so ignore me....

BUT I love my YT vendors.....and I shope them all the time....I would love to see them and visit with them at the meet up, BUT I know I would personally love to see some vendors outside of YT there too if space allows...you know, something that we don't see or they don't have a site or just something different......Is that taboo of me to want???:cool:

FYI - I will be in Kansas City for the holiday, so if there is a delay in responding to your registration payment or e-mail, please be patient and know that I WILL get back to you when I have a chance. If you want to pay via check or money order, please send me an e-mail to yorkietalkmeetup@yahoo.com stating that you'd like to register with or without dinner and pay via check or money order. Your registration will be effective from the time I receive either your PayPal payment confirmation or your e-mail stating that you'd like to pay via check or money order (obviously pending that I receive your payment in the mail after I respond with your registration number). What that means for you, for example, is that if you send your PayPal to me on December 31, even if you don't hear back from me until January 5th, you WILL receive the cheapest registration price, as you DID pay (or notify me of your desire to pay via check or money order) by the January 1st deadline. Therefore, don't freak out on me if you don't hear back from me right away. I have a lot of activities planned with my friends and families while I'm home, and I will not be monitoring the YT e-mail address as often as I do now.

Furthermore, I'm meeting with my contact at the hotel while I'm home so I can see the meeting space in person, along with the area he's going to set the vendors up in, etc. Let me know if you have any additional questions for the hotel, as this will be a great time to get answers in person (although I've been trying to keep everything in writing so far, so nothing can come back on us later). I'll also be checking out the area parks to determine which will be the best location for the Friday meet-up as everyone gets into town.
