we are! in fact we actually stopped at 2 pm today and spent the time relaxing. even taking our time we should be arriving a bit early.

About 170 miles into KS, 335 miles from Denver. You will pass the largest woodchuck and a big ball of twine! :rolleyes:

OMG you aren't going to believe this, but Mike has been asking for two months for me to find out where the big ball of twine is! Is it in Hays?? That is a MUST see! lol

Aparently it is in Cawker City, KS. There is also a tiny town that advertises that they have a 5 legged cow. Stopped at that gas station once...

I'm sorry, not a woodchuck, a prairie dog. In Prairie Dog Town. "World's largest." It's a statue. They also have a 6 legged cow there, but don't stop to see it. It is pretty sad and gross. You can look all of this up on the internet.

I promise everyone, KC is the best part of KS! We won't be anywhere near the western ks weirdness!

I am pleased to announce that crb's aunt, Carmen, will be our new photographer. The local pet photographer I contacted is not available this weekend, but Carmen was already going to be there vending her other photography products (t-shirts, mugs, dog tags, etc.), and she's agreed to take pictures for us as well. Her hubby is going to attend the event to take candid shots for us so that we can still have CDs as originally hoped, and Carmen is going to set-up to take portrait pictures for us. I'm so glad she's going to be there and wants to do this for us! We'll all have to give Carmen a big THANKS when we see her! (And thank you Cynthia for originally telling her about our meet-up :thumbup:)!

Sukoshi got her health cert on Monday, got groomed yesterday, I have a hair cut appointment today, and then we fly out tomorrow! Yay!!!!

You all are very welcome. She and her hubby love taking pictures at all our family events. And I'm happy I'll get to see her, it's been quite some time.

I posted this in our group but I thought I'd post here too. I ordered the YT meetup shirts and Brookes is huge on her!! It is a T2. Does anyone have a T1 I could trade for, if your's is too small? Thanks!! Can't wait to meet you all!

I'm flying stand-by because I work for the airlines and now all the loads look full!!:eek:At the beginning of the week, it looked good! I hope I will make it there on Friday!! I could be sitting in the airport all day instead!! Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!!

LOL! It only seems like 7 hours. I live in NE Kansas and we can make it from Denver in 8-9 hours. Hays is way more than an hour from us. Denver to KC should be about 12 hours give or take.

Yeah I haven't tried Teddi's on but it's a T2 and it looks huge too! It will definitely be a long night gown!
