Teddi is all ready to travel....we got her heath certificat today and she weighs in at a health 3 lbs with a little strawberry hoodie on!! Can't wait to meet everyone and see all the pups!! |
Looks like we are all on the same page. Shelby & Seymour got their health certs today (& Shelby had her vaccinations which were also due today... she is doing well..as usual, they really don't seem to bother her at all). I started adding to the PILE of things that we need to bring. Hope to be packed and ready to leave on Thursday EARLY morning. We hope to be in KC before sunset Thursday evening. |
It is fast approaching!!! I know you all will have a great time!!!! I so wish Mojo and LilyGrace and I could be there! Have fun, take lots of pictures and I hope everyone posts about their experience!!! |
oOo the meetup is coming up quick..i know everyone is going to have so much fun...i wish i could come but I have a family wedding to attend this Saturday...see that is why i can never plan ahead because something like that always comes up....i can't wait to see all the wonderful pictures.... |

Cousin IT.... We are all ready and can't wait to meet everybody...except one thing....I'm a bad momma and didn't think ahead far enough. I called our regular groomer last week to get Scout in and they are booking 3 weeks out. I told them to put me on a cancellation list. He is looking pretty shaggy. So I decided to call one other place that I didn't like, but I had been there before so I thought my chances might be better...nope. I didn't even think they would all be backed up with people wanting summer cuts. So I've really thought about giving Scout a hair cut my ownself because it's going to be so hot in Kansas City.....but then again...he's going to be in public for goodness sake. So I will be there with my little man. Just look for the red-headed woman with the nekkid (he hates clothes) scraggly Yorkie....:p |
I have an idea! I have an idea for something really cute. How about a nice "Guestbook" page where we can all sign and do a paw print of each of our babies! Then it can be copied off for everyone as a souvenir of the trip. Does anyone know where you can get that kind of fingerprint ink that just wipes right off your skin and doesn't stain? What do you think? |
I'm not going to be able to be there in person, but I will be with you all in spirit. :) Have a great time! I think you would be fine just using watercolor paints. I mean, it's not really like they are being booked or anything! lol :p And that should come right off with a wet wipe. Just a thought. It's a cute idea by the way. :) |

A childrens' non-toxic water based stamp pad would work well! I have done this before to my dogs :) to "sign" cards. Ours is all dried up now though... |
I have a question regarding the vendor who will be at the meeting making mugs, mousepads, etc. Is it okay to bring our pet's pictures on a CD or USB drive or do we need to bring hard copy pictures? Looking forward to meeting everyone! |

pictures I spoke with my aunt and she said she can pull your pictures off of any type of media, even cell phones. She is also bringing a back drop just in case you want to take a photo of your babies there. Lisa, I sent you a pm. |

JMHO, but it was not very "Professional" to cancel at the last minute. A commitment is a commitment; I'm sure the trip would have exceed their expectations financially. Ok, now I am ready to leave....well I still have to pack, and I'm ready to do that, and a few other chores. I will stop and find a picture or two to bring with....the address labels are a good idea. Business cards, too. I think if the YT'ers have cards they should bring those too!!!! |
Two more days until we'll be leaving!! Just have several things to do before we leave! I'm very dissapointed about the photographer too...I most likely would have had Lacy and rylie's pictures made. We've known about how many members would be there for a while now... oh well, cynthia's aunt will be there and she can take pictures or can use already-taken pictures and do all kinds of neat things with it! |
Hi everyone! WE are sitting in a KOA campground in Grand Junction, Colorado... on our way to Kansas City. We left home in California Monday night and are taking our time. I am so disappointed about the professional photos too. I was planning on getting all 4 of mine done. Oh well.. see you all in a couple of days! We are having a riot with the babies in the RV.. |
