I am getting so excited! Our trip alone is going to cost us a fortune, (appr. $1600 round trip just for gas!) but I am not going to worry about it. I already bought TONS of raffle tickets... so I guess we will be spending at the bar. Regarding the Royals game.. I asked Mike and he said he would like us to go to the game as well.. IF we can find a dog sitter for our 4 furbutts.. so if anyone is NOT planning on going to the game and would be willing to PUPPY SIT for us.. please let me know. Also I need to know about getting tickets to the game for 2 of us. Sonya |
I was planning on buying more raffle tickes upon arrival at the meet-up. And, I certainly can be counted on for my diet sodas!!! Maybe even a margharita if we are realllllllllllllllllllllllllllly having a good time!!!! Maybe roomservice during the pajama party??? |

I haven't bought any raffle tickets yet...... except with what comes with the registration, but you can count on me to buy some at the meet up. ALso, hubby and I will probably have a drink (or two) from the bar...... not to mention, we may use the hotel restaurant to eat (room service or take-out). If we do, and it can go towards the total... how do we let them know?? If we charge it to our room or pay cash and tell them we are with YT, will that suffice? Just say the word Lisa..... we'll do what we can to help!!! (& don't worry, you are NOT coming accross as asking for more $$$.... just want to know what I can do to help :) ) |

And don't forget that we are bringing our mobile studio and doing pet portraits! It will be a lot of fun! We don't mind doing yorkie/mommy pictures either! We are bringing our printer, and will be able to *hopefully* print all of our pictures on the spot. See you next week! |
I think we might want to consider a plan B for the park meet on Friday, just in case of rain. I've been watching the weather for KC, and it has been storming off and on. |

I was supposed to have a layover in Kansas City today (I'm a flight attendant) but the weather was so bad we had to go around the storms and missed our connection so I am in Denver!! Bummer, because I was going to check everything out, we layover right on the plaza!! Oh well, I'll be there in a week anyway!! |

This probably isn't the best back-up plan, but Des (Tiger's Mom), Lisa (Sukoshi's Mom), Cyndi (Izzy Princess) and I are sharing a room and we have booked a connecting "parlor" to it is kind of a suite. I have no idea what the "parlor" looks like and I'm sure it would be a tight fit, but in case of rain, we can hang there!!!!!! |

It was a cute little shop with a lot of adorable sweaters and clothes, but she definitely had "boutique" prices. I just say this as fair warning for anyone who wants to stop by the Doggie Style Bowtique, so you can make sure you have plenty of extra $. The owner was very nice, and she said she'd make sure to have plenty of "Yorkie sizes" stocked up for that weekend in June. She did say she was closed on Sundays, so I presume most of you will want to go on that Friday, as the meet-up will take up most of the day on Saturday. This boutique had been mentioned some time ago but not recently so I wanted to remind everyone this is another possibility for shopping and is within range of the hotel shuttle. |
