haha...it looks like a fabric and ribbon bomb went off at your house! There is fabric, dresses, and vests EVERYWHERE...and then ribbons and bows everywhere too. I told Cynthia she was running out of free surfaces. Her husband is probably ready to have his house back too :p

I know...I hope we end up having nice weather next weekend. Especially since we'll be eating on patios at the restaurants on the plaze..don't want to get drenched!

yay! 7 days and 1 hour until crb, layla's mom and I leave for KC!! (we are leaving at 1:00am and driving through the night)

Well, the hotel ballroom is booked until 5:00 Friday, and they'll have all their A/V equipment to clean up after that, so it's not going to work for us to hang out there if it rains. My mom is going to the park this Saturday to see exactly what is available in the way of shelter houses and such, and then I'll let you know. We may just have to plan to hangout in our rooms if it rains, like others suggested. My mom did say that it's been raining most every night, but that it's been completely dry (and HOT) during the day, so hopefully it won't be a problem.

Also, for those of you who asked about making sure the food and drink you buy in the hotel restaurant is "credited" to our group to help us meet the minimum, I asked the hotel about this, and they said, "There wouldn't be a really easy way for us to track the food spent in the restaurant by your group, but thats a very nice offer. Im sure they will make close to the difference with restaurant food and bar beverage." So...no worries about telling the restaurant that it's for our group since they aren't holding us to our minimums anymore, but I'm sure they'll appreciate any additional money you spend with them!! Thanks!

haha...I know I told my hubby that things would get some what back to normal after KC. You, Gayla and my sisters have been great helping me. I'm gonna miss all our late girl's nights, making bows and dresses. :D

I think the hotel and I have all the times and locations worked out now (they kept changing their minds on which ballroom they wanted us in), so I will finish up the schedule/agenda right now and e-mail it out to all the registrants within the hour...

I think that that information will probably be delivered privately.... I think that it was talked about and the decision was not to post the time and exact place publicly...... for our safety.

I, too, just received the t-shirts for the meetup......... They are great!! TY so much, Des!!...... I like the pink! :p ......... and Seymour is thankful that he is able to wear blue!! :D That was really quick, too!!! Awesome job to all involved in getting these shirts!!!

We are so excited! We have been making bows and pearl necklaces like crazy. I have to go to Vegas for a convention on Tuesday and will fly home on Friday We will turn right around and load Katy and the bows in the car.

I thought it was up to the individual airline and haven't heard anything about the state itself requiring a certificate, so I don't know :confused::confused:. I will have one for Sukoshi, although my airline requires it (even though it's my experience that they never actually look at it :thumbdown), so I'm not sure how to find out if the state itself requires one. Sorry I'm no help on this one :confused::confused:...

I've taken Murfee to KC many times and stayed in many hotels and have never been asked for one.
