I have a boy Biewer and a girl Yorkie mix. I wanted a small girl since my other two are scared of other pups bigger than them. PM me, please.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Please spay her before selling. Many people will breed her without any consideration for her heath. It doesn't help to sell on limited registration, in this case, because some people are breeding Biewers with parti's and will just register the pups as Biewers.

The groomer said that her pups must be 2 inches long (she should know, she sells pups). We thought of how sad for that poor baby, to put her through that. Sad, sad...

| Where are they registering the Quote:
Here in US many people mistake the Biewer for the 'Parti Yorkie.' People stop me often and ask me if my boy is a Parti, I say yes most of the time to save me the time and the 101 questions. But there are differences. Some of those differences are in the how much and the where of their color. From what I understand, parties can have the colors in uneven proportions and anywhere in the body. Biewers have a certain percentage of the white and back/blue in the body (belly, neck and all 4 legs should be snow-white) and a certain percentage of the white, gold, black/blue in the face. And the tail plays a role as well (Biewer's tails are not docked). I did a lot of research when looking for my boy and so far I have been able to distinguish between them. I don't follow clubs, so I wouldn't know if Partis are being registered as Biewers here or anywhere, but it does interest me because it means that some day the geniuses that stop me in the street will quit asking me, "what is that?" when looking at my boy. That would make me happy

Here is a pic of my recent litter of two IBC registered Biewer Yorkie pups sired by an AKC parti yorkie. Proof is in the pudding...they breed true when bred together. If all goes well...one of these boys will be held back to show as a Biewer Yorkie.

| I agree, the little girl needs protection Quote:
The one thing that I did appreciate was that the person I wanted to adopt from and that follows the standard asked a lot of me, even about my diet, references, and everything under the sun, to the point where I was getting angry. Then she explained and I understood why they were prying and I was okay with it. Made me feel like there are some people who really care about these babies

| Can't remember Quote:
If what you say is the case, I would believe it may have been the other way around; Mrs. Gertrude wrote it and an American translated it Sounds more logical to me. Knowing my people, they would've been very flexible on the standards. Not that Germans aren't, but that Mrs. Gertrude wasn't.' Besides, if I remember correctly and if we're talking about the same thing, there was no American at the time in all those dealings in 1989. Remember, Biewers don't have a club here, so a standard here doesn't matter, they are not recognized as a separate breed, yet. But, then again, what do I really know about all this??? Mrs. Gertrude loved her dogs, you could see it in the pictures, they were her children (I never met her personally, but pictures do speak louder than words). She was also very strict with the standards and only supported the club in order to preserve it, from what I heard. Biewers were going to be bred anyway the way she and her late husband said not to. I don't believe that she would relaxed her strong belief after holding on to it for so long (?) I could be a financial move after the fact by the club. Adopting a Biewer carries a hefty price, I was looking at 6k for a boy at one point, not including travel and other (long story). So, I can imagine what's to happen without her, being that she must be advanced in age or just tired or fighting a losing battle---free-for-all. One more thing, please don't quote me on any of this, I was just looking to adopt. I wasn't looking to do my thesis on Biewers or to become an authority on the subject or to breed---just a humble, mommy-wanna-be with the dream of a healthy, happy pup. And that's why I asked, read, communicated with everyone that would help me. Some people lied to me, tried to stir me or influence me one way or another. Some were honest and helpful but I never asked for proof about the clubs or intentions of any particular person or thing that didn't really matter to me. So everything I said above is what I got from all that research I did for my ultimate goal---Nini & Nicky. I don't care about pedigree, I think it's all BS (I'm also a marketing major, so I know BS when I see it) I just want a beautiful, healthy, bouncy baby
