BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I have Baby!! I have Baby, but she is very scared, she keeps going to the front door and just laying there. She has came and sat on my lap and warmed up to me. She was shaking pretty bad so I wrapped her in a blanket and she stopped shaking. She is in dire need of a good bath, but I dont know if I should bathe her yet, I don't want to really freak her out. Do you think it would be ok or not? I could do it real quick, just to make her smell better. Lillie came over and sat on my lap to make sure baby knew I was HER mommy! My hubby had to run somewhere and took Lillie with him, so this is giving baby and I some quiet time alone. I just pray she will calm down and adjust. This is all new to me, I don't know how to make her feel safe, I hold her and tell her she will be ok, but does she know this? I just feel so bad for her and want to comfort her, but I don't want Lillie to get jealous and feel I'm ignoring her either. Here is a few pics of Baby, like I said, she is very scared. |

| She is totally too cute! My Starr also shakes when something is new to her, she is so unlike the other 2 adventurers... I cuddle her and sing very very low in her ear and after a few mintues the shaking stops, try it Starr also loves her carrier when we got to meetups and she is in her "shakie mood" I leave it open on the floor and she'll jump in it for as long as she needs, she used to go to sleep but now she sits up and checks things out from a place she is familiar (her carrier) which may be her safe haven when away from home. Even at Jodie's when she was little she did this, I didn't realize at the time cause she was new to me, but it is when she is scared she jumps in there.

| Aw, she is SO cute! Jaden was scared when he first came home as well. I wrapped him in a warm blanket and just held him for a while, then I after that I put him in his crate that he was used to and let him lay in there and I'd just have my arm in the crate with him and would pet him. He felt more calm in there because it was something he was used to. I am sorry to hear about Baby's "parents" getting divorced, I'm sure it must be hard for her having to deal with so much at once. I am sure she will warm up to you and your family soon, especially with all the LOVE she is certain to get! Hugs to you both! |

| Being in a new environment can be scary... I always say food is the best motivator & ice breaker! Do you know if she is more comfortable in a small space like a crate or not? Or is she more comfortable being held? I'd try to give her what she is most comfortable and familiar with. Since she is older, it might take her a little longer than a puppy to feel comfortable but with a little patience I'm sure she will adjust soon. You're getting a lot of good advise and like others said, she just needs some time to adjust. She sure is a cutie! So small! and such unusual coloring. She's going to be a wonderful addition to your family! and she has the best home to be a part of! If it was me, I'd probably give her a day or two before a bath (unless she is SUPER stinky).

| I have a 2 years old rescued girl . She had 5 previous homes before arriving here . She is afraid of everything . I waited until she started to adjust before giving her a bath . If you do it now , you can traumatize her more . |

| congrats on your new addition to the family. She is realy beautiful. You're soo lucky to get her, and she is so lucky to find such a great home. I'm sure that the girls will get along just fine, just give them some space, and let "dogs be DOGS' for a bit.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | so far she has calmed down a bit, she has kinda taken to my 16 year old daughter, just laying in a blanket with her. I did not give her a bath yet, I will give it a couple days, I dont want to scare her to much, so it is best to just wait. I did try to give her some food, but she would not take it, nor would she take the chicken bite (treat), but I figured she wouldnt eat right away. Lillie has not really bothered her at all, Lillie has been right next to me making sure I'm not cheating on her lol Thanks so much for all your wonderful advice. |

| Oh Missy she is beautiful...how lucky you are and how lucky she is. I wish someone would give me another Yorkie. I may have to keep one of the puppies when they arrive.
