Awww, she is so precious

Before you know it, she'll act like she owns the place

If you could get her to eat that would be good. Maybe put some food down and just ignore her for a bit

Baby is sooo sweet!! She looks so petite..how big is she?

She will be ok within a few days...she is just frightened and confused...

Baby is so adorable. I was worried when I brought Pixie home 3 weeks ago since she was 13 months old. The first 2 days she was pretty scared but settled in nicely and she was use to being in the Breeder's basement not a pet like Baby. So it may take her a little longer to accept her new home. I agree food is a great motivator.

I call my little Isis "Baby" too. In fact she answers better to Baby than to Isis (her name). She also shakes when things around her change. she doesn't like other people too much and I have been trying to socialize her some. All slowly...... I too would wait on the bath for a few days, give her a chance to get to know her new home.

Missy she is so beautiful!!! poor thing having to adjust is hard.. new smells.. probably wondering where her mom is.. but i'm sure that will only last a few days.. before you know it she will fit right in! does she have a crate??? i'm sure she would feel better in that... keep us updated... it was SO nice of oyu to take her in.. she is just gorgeous!

She is 4 years old and she belonged to a friend of mine, but she is going through a divorce and can not keep her, so I took her.

Bless your heart for taking her! Does she have her 'blanky' from home? Or something that belonged to your friend so she has the familiar smell on it? It might help...

Missy - she is a doll. Give her some time. It sounds like she might be used to being alone and watching the door for someone to come. I hope it won't take long and she and Lillie will be fast friends.

Look at that cutie patootie!!! Looks like a chocolate to me. And tiny! She will be just fine in a couple of days. With the way Lillie is spoiled, it will be no time and Baby will realize that she never had it so good. I am sure your friend took good care of her, but your family spoils animals to pieces!!!

Just like they should be. Congrats Missy and the rest of your family!! Give Lillie kisses for me and Baby too!

My little Bijou is a puppymill baby who was a nervous wreck for the first couple weeks at her new home. New sights, sounds, pets, kids, etc. She shook all the time and didn't seem happy. I wrapped her in her blankie that I got her and we would sit on the couch together, all the while talking calmly so she could start to feel comfort from my voice. I also let her sleep with me. Carried her around as much as I could during the day. Almost forced bonding you could say. I offered her cooked chicken and hand fed it to her. Now a few months later she is my best buddy. Follows me everywhere. Loves the sound of my voice, loves to sit on my lap. The rest of my zoo kind of had to take a back seat for those couple of weeks but they all have welcomed her nicely. She mainly plays with my 3 lb. Jap. Chin and the kittens since those are the only animals as small as she is.

I feel so sorry for this little girl that she no longer has the only dad and mom she's ever known and is in a strange house with strange people and dog. She must be so traumatized. Try giving her a scrambled egg with melted cheese in it. Bet she would eat that, and the protein will help her relax and sleep better.

Just give her time she will adjust. This is all very new to her and she needs the time to adjust to her new home. She will come around in no time!!

Baby slept with me till 1am, then she went in and slept with my oldest daughter, my daughter said she kept getting up and down and going to the door.

This morning, we took her right outside right away and she pottyed and my dd said she loved the snow and started to play. She came in and she took a chicken bite treat. She started to play!!! She was jumping around and trying to get us and playing, it was so darn sweet!

Baby has no bottom teeth, just her bottom Canines! So her wittle tongue hangs out a bit.

Lillie wanted to play with her so bad, at 1st Baby went and hid and wanted nothing to do with Lillie, but I started playing with Lillie and soon Baby came and joined in!

I really think she will be fine, she is calming down and has eaten already this morning. I'm going to attempt to give her a bath this afternoon, she so needs it so so bad!

I already made her, her 1st harness vest and cant wait to give her a bath and take a few pics of her in her new vest!

I really think she is going to fit in perfectly! I'm so blessed to have 2 wonderful baby girls! My dreams is finally coming true! AND my husband!!! OMG how he is just loving this!!!! You should see him with both Lillie and Baby! He is just like a big kid playing with them and baby talking with them! I just love it!

My home is complete!
