Being in a new environment can be scary... I always say food is the best motivator & ice breaker! Do you know if she is more comfortable in a small space like a crate or not? Or is she more comfortable being held? I'd try to give her what she is most comfortable and familiar with. Since she is older, it might take her a little longer than a puppy to feel comfortable but with a little patience I'm sure she will adjust soon.
You're getting a lot of good advise and like others said, she just needs some time to adjust.
She sure is a cutie! So small! and such unusual coloring. She's going to be a wonderful addition to your family! and she has the best home to be a part of!
If it was me, I'd probably give her a day or two before a bath (unless she is SUPER stinky). |
