Donating YT 11K Club Member | London is finally home!!!!! And she's adorable! Teddy was so excited when he met her. He kept smelling her and wagging his tail. She would lift her paws up to play. They are so cute together. Here are pics! I have a question btw. London will not eat and her tummy is making little sounds. I gave her nutrical and tried to give her babyfood, chicken with chicken gravy like the breeder said but she won't eat it. She only had like 2 licks. She also said to get Nutromax chicken and rice wet food and purina puppy chow dry for night. I tried to give her some dry but she won't eat it either. She spit it out. I think she is already spoiled on wet food. Teddy ate dry right away. He eats Innova. What should I do? |

| London is just adorable! What a cutie! I don't know about the food problem, my boy eats Innova too, and he ate dry food right off the bat. Congratulations on your new little girl! |

| She is absolutely adorable!! Congratulations on your new baby! I don't know what to tell you about her not eating. Maybe she is nervous because of the new surroundings?

| Aw, Sarah she is just beautiful!! Don't worry about the eating thing, Jaden did the same thing when I brought him home. He didn't want to eat, he didn't want to drink and refused to go to the bathroom! I was soooo worried I about made myself sick. What I was told to do by the vet was give him a little bit of nutrical once every hour until he started eating or until you go to bed. *Don't do this for more than 12 hours straight as too much nutri cal isn't good for them and can cause them to become diabetic). That way his blood sugar wouldn't go down too much. Also you can take the wet food and put the dry food in it in a mixer and it will blend the dry food into it. That way if she'll eat the wet food the dry food nutrients will be in there and then you can eventually start adding little bits of the dry food in there along with the crushed in dry food until she starts eating it on her own. Because she's so small and young make sure she does get some food in her belly before bedtime. You can get little eye drop syrgnes at walmart in the medical section for like $1.50 and pick up some baby food (make sure there is no garlic or onion powder in the ingredients) I got Jaden sweet potatoes and Chicken and vegetable flavor. Then you just syrge the food in the dropper and put it in their mouth. Once it's in there they will swallow it. I gave Jaden about 4 droppers worth and a little bit of nutrical and then went to bed and the next morning he ate great. It just takes them a little while to get used to their surroundings. If you're worried about her staying hyrdrated or being too stressed out from the flight you can add a tiny bit of honey to her water. It has a calming effect on their nervous system. I use that trick with Jaden all the time. Pedialyte is also good for making sure they are hydrated. You can make a mixture of 1/2 pedialyte 1/2 water and put that in her bowl and give that to her to drink. I'm sure she will be fine, she's gone through a lot in one day so she just needs a little time to get used to things Hope this helped! Hugs, Joy |

They look so cute together. Just keep offering the food. You could also try some cottage cheese or scrambled eggs. Mine would eat that when they wouldn't eat anything else. also puppy chow is not the best food. But any food is better than No food, so at this point, whatever you can get her to eat.

| Yes, I meant to mention that, puppy chow isn't great food for her however, if I were you I wouldn't go switching her food right now. I'd wai a week maybe two until she gets settled and then if you wanted you could switch her over to Innova so that she and Teddy could be eating the same thing. Just make sure whatever kind you are using has the nutrients puppies need as well. I plan on feeding Jadajewel and Jaden Chicken Noodle Soup for the puppy lovers soul. Its supposed to be a good food for both older and younger dogs. |

You can get pedialyte in the baby section of almost any grocery store, they have it at Walmart too. I think giving her the formula Luna's mommy posted before bedtime would be a great idea! I think you are smart to wait to switch her food, if you do that now it's just going to cause her more stress and she doesn't need any of that right now. Sounds like she is doing great and that you are taking great care of her!
