| Starsky is very long and skinny and he doesn't grow thick hair. His mom was 6lbs and his dad was around 4 to 5 lbs and all his siblings were between 5 and 6 lbs. Starsky is a booming 9 lbs! He is just really lean. We have shaved him pretty short since these pictures. He is really skinny looking now, but loves not being so hot! In the last picture, Starsky is in the camoflage harness vest.

| My yorkie Finn was kind of long too. I had his hair cut, and it really was a nice break at first, but after awhile I really regretted it. It really did make him look longer. Plus, I hated that people often mistaked him for a Schnauzer. If I were to do a short cut again, I would probably leave the legs long and full. Here are a couple pictures of him before and after the cut. |

| Thanks everyone who posted pics. I think they look cute with the short hair. They don't look to long at all.

| She is just gorgeous! It would break my heart to cut her hair but I'm sure it is ALOT of work. Spike has a very similar coat and a groomer used a Coat King on him and it made a huge difference. Now his coat lays a lot smoother and he feels silkier and mats a lot less. You can see them here: http://www.petedge.com/shopping/prod...ctID=2440&AS=1. She used the 22 size on him. Here are some pics of Gracie my long dog. These are from her nightmare grooming trip last summer. I asked for a 2 to 3 inch puppy cut and got a shave down. It's finally growing back but it got me over the desire to have any of my dogs' hair cut again. |

| Here's Spike. He's only 8 months old so he doesn't have a full coat yet. I can't wait until he does because I think it will be a lot like Sophie's and her's is beautiful! |

| Sango is VERY LONG. She's about 15" from base of neck to tail. I'll post some pictures when I get home. I wish Sango's hair was as thick and long as Sophie's though. She has such beautiful hair!

| Nikki+2 Spike is so cute and his hair is similar to Sophie's. Gracie does look long in that last pic. Thanks for sharing. Mueyinter Sango is a cutie. She is long but her hair looks cute shorter. I like it like that not to short and not to long. Thanks for sharing her pic. I always wondered if there where any yorkies as long as Sophie. I told my husband she looks part wiener dog. Thanks
