| Yoda in his New Bassinet Amazingly, he likes it a lot! After getting accustomed to it for a few minutes, the minute we walked out of the room and left him in there, he started to nap in his new antique. We picked it up at a yard sale, and it was originally used to house dolls. Yoda's a cute furry doll, that's it! |

| Fasteddie .... that's the cutest thing I have seen in a while!! Love the bassinet ... wicker is a personal weakness of mine!! Isn't it amazing that Yorkies sleep in some of the oddest places? When Toto was younger she would be playing and next thing I would know she would "drop like a rock" where she was and be sound asleep!!

| Hahah, Yoda still loves to sleep on his King size bed next to us... But anytime he can snuggle in somewhere and be protected by mounds (our bodies or pillows) he'll lay and fall right asleep! |

| How cute! He looks like a stuffed animal! I want to put Otis in the basket on my bicycle, but I'm afraid he'll jump out. Does anyone cart their Yorkie around on a bike? |

Junebug--- They do have baskets with a cage that goes over the top so they cant jump out, not sure where to find them. Maybe try pet stores or bicycle shops. I gave up rideing bikes a LOONNGGG! time ago! LOL Cindy | |

| Junebug: I'm always afraid if I take a fall on the bike, that Yoda will suffer a worse fall. Perhaps there's some way to strap them in? Such as a something tied to their harnesses? That said, we have put him in a little basket and he generally stays (when Yoda is high up off the ground, he'll generally stay put). The basket is pretty high, perhaps a foot? And he was only ridden around for a little bit in our driveway or his grandparent's property with grass everywhere. He likes the wind in his hair, that's for sure! |

| OOOHHH that is so cute fasteddie!!! fasteddie, he looks so cute there!!! It looks a little tall from the floor... but if he can get in, then it is not too tall for him I have been trying to get Cosita to get in a designer bag.. I don't think she likes the idea of going to places there... she is too jumpy. So I stepped back and started trying for her to like the bag first, like play with it and stuff.. so I put one toy inside and say: "come and get it".. or put in a treat.. she was very apprehensive at first, but then she started now going in.. I still haven't picked the bag with her in it yet from the floor.. I don't know when will be the right time.. I want her to learn to go in it so I can take her shopping!!! Has someone gotten their Yorkie to go happy and calmed in one of these bags? -Raiza Quote:

| Raiza ... Toto LOVES her bag ... the reason is when I pick up her bag she knows she is going somewhere! We started when she was very small ... at first I would just put her in the bag and say "kennel up" ... then one day I was getting ready to go out ... sat her bag down on the floor to do something before leaving and when I came back to pick it up ... there sat Toto in her bag!!! From then on, when we are taking her out, I just open the bag and say "kennel up" and she somehow jumps up and lands in the bag Butt first!! It is so funny! I have found that she teaches us more than we "teach" her. When she does something we want her go do we just keep repeating it and praising her until it's just second nature to her ... patience pays off!!

| Yes, make it an event like bettyeanne does, when Yoda's carrier comes out, Yoda jumps right in, because he knows he gets to go somewhere fun! He's a outdoorsy busy boy and always wants to go with us everywhere! But once in the car, he gets a little fussy and wants OUT of his carrier! Raiza: perhaps start by giving Cosita a treat when she gets in the carrier, then take her for a short stroll outside or something. Once they get the association down of treat or outside (after getting into the carrier or purse), they'll be happy to do it every time! |

| Hi guys, Okay, today I took Cosita for a walk twice in the designer bag. It was actually rather uncomfortable. It was for me, so I can't imagine for Cosita. Her head and almost all her neck was sticking out and the bag kept tipping over to the front! It felt as if she was going to slide right out or the bag didn't stay as it was supposed to be. I Kept telling her "get inside, get inside". I actually thought putting sort of like a piece of fabric from front to the top of my shoulders so the bag would stay straight/balanced in place. She actually did the walk with me, but she should be sitting on the center to the back of the bag to keep the balance.. obviously she won't... she is not used to it i will suspect. Fasteddie, Bettyeanne, does your Yorkie stay rather inside or wants most likely come out of the bag while you walk cuz of being too curious? Also, Cosita has grown a lot the last two weeks. She is 16 weeks old and she is probably up to 4 pounds already (close if not there, hopefully not over)!!! I just measured her and she is from neck down 8 inches , from neck to beginning of tail she is about 10 inches and I think from floor to top of her heat about 10 inches. ... mmmmhhh I think she is going to be a big Yorkie.. not sure. She has been in our house since the 30 (so about 16 days) and she has put on about 2 pounds.. I think. When did you notice your babies stopped growing? I can't wait to see how big she will be... meanwhile I need to enjoy this phase of her young life. P.S.. I know, I keep asking these dumb questions, but when do you most likely can start putting bows.??.. Cosita's hair is to thin and short right now. Quote:
