| Thank you! I think you probably have a yorkie. Do a Google search for silky terriers and one for yorkies. I think you will be able to see the difference in the yorkie and silky faces. That might help you figure out which she is.

| What did the parents and grandparents look like - typical Yorkies? Of course, even if they did, it might be possible Mom had a fling with an interloper unbeknownst to the breeder. If there were any Silkies or Aussie terriers or other intact male dogs on the premises during her heat, it could be possible dad on the registration papers isn't really dad in fact. Still, this day and time, if you Google Image "Yorkie", you will see a wide variety of different looks.

| Be sure your picture is 200.0 kb or smaller or it won't upload to the site.

Or, look down the page to "Additional Options" to "Manage Attachments", search your computer for the file, click on it and upload, then submit the post.

| I am happy to read this I am so happy to read your post Doodlebug. My yorkie is 15 weeks old and he is 7 lbs. When I look on the weight chart, it says that at adulthood he should be 11 lbs, 11 oz. I was freaking out because I thought that was terribly big for a yorkie. I always pictured having a 3.5 - 5 lb. little yorkie that I could carry in my purse (which obviously isn't happening). Thank you for letting me know that there are other yorkies out there that are bigger than the 5 lb ones that people usually have. |

| My passed female was 100% yorkie, she weighed in at 17 beautiful lbs. Yorkies come in all sizes, lengths, heights, coat texture. does not mean they are not pure breeds.
