I expected Daisy to be around 6 or 7 lbs based on her parents size. She was bigger than her little brother littermate but that didn't make any difference to me. But she kept getting bigger and bigger. At first I was disappointed that she wasn't small but that only lasted a minute. I began to realize that she is a perfect size and I wouldn't want her any other way. A lot of people over the years have asked me where they can get a larger yorkie like Daisy. I just have to tell them they will probably have a difficult time finding one since yorkie breeders aren't usually breeding to get 18 lb. Yorkies. I figure that I have a "lucky find" to have gotten this "big one". Lol. I'm pretty sure you will feel the same way. Enjoy him!!!
