I do feel I am being too harsh for the ambience of this forum. So I'll drop the public discussion. But, I do remain unconvinced, all others opinions are their own.

I cut out the size of paper to put in the special frame my husband made for me. I knew it would roll, so I stuck it down. It's sealed and in the frame now. Any other quesitons?

I am getting sick and tired of people outright abusing waistfull's work. I have recieved pm's telling me that her works seem to be fakes and even had examples made for me. (obviously these pm's were from Phoo.. this is obvious since he posted a pic of my harley he/she

did on photoshop) But I have been been trading pm's back and fourth with waistfull about her work and I am totally and 100% completely sick of her being criticized and made out to be a fake/liar.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion but sometimes it's best to just keep it to yourself.

:zip: If you don't enjoy her work then don't look at the threads and don't post replies just to put her down. I am having a painting done of Harley and when it's completed and has made it's way to me I will post pics and we'll see just how real her beautiful works really are. As far as the "sketch" criticisims.. It may 'look' similar to pics done through photoshop but I have seen MANY other drawings just like hers in the art dept at shepherd university where I go to school and they're done with continuous thin and thick lines varrying to add the depth and contrast rather than using shading to get the same result. I love her work. So there!

I had no idea other people were posting anything about this until after I said something. And I even said in my post that i was not trying to be rude or anything, but It was my opinion that I thought the pictures looked very similar to photoshop.
i did see her other work that she took real photos of, and I NEVER said that she was not an artist or a bad artist at that. I just made a comment on the ones i saw first. I Think that her photographed art is really good, but I dont think that the others are drawn/painted. And I am sticking to MY opinion!!!

Well I know I haven't posted alot yet, as I'm a new member but we still have a right to our opinions just the same.
I have worked in paint shop pro and photo shop for over 5 years and these are the results of computer paint programs.
I'll show you an example of a photo a member posted of her dogs and that this lady claimed to paint.
They ARE the same picture just painted over in the program with some white dots added to the nose and such.
Both pictures are the exact same size in everyway. Anyone can make a painting from a picture once you learn the ropes of these programs.

Its even more obvious when you layer them in PSP and slowly turn the opacity down on the top picture in your layer.
Even the gray in the background still has some of the wrinkles that is in the original if you look closely, where the gray wasn't sprayed on dark enough to completely cover.
Sorry if this offends anyone but please treat others like they do have some common sense.

I have no experiemce in art but however it is done I think it's pretty cool! I couldn't paint or do a computer image so I'm impressed either way!

I don't even think I will be posting here anymore, so take aim and fire away. I'm a sensitive person who does not appreciate all of this. I tried showing some work, not even related to this, but I keep getting slammed. I'm done. Please don't post on here, as I can't hardly handle all of this anymore.

Question for the doubting Thomas's.. If waistfulls works are fake.. Then how do you expect her to fake painting and selling me the original work she is going to do of my Harley? If she were lying and making fakes through photoshop then how in the world would she get herself around this lie? Take a minute and think on that one. She told me originally that she's never given up an original bc she likes to hold on to her firsts (which I can totally relate) but I told her I was only interested in the original work. And ter da, she replied that she is more than willing to give up the original work.. Anybody know how she's supposed to be getting around this one? Wouldn't someone who was actually making their paintings through a computer refuse to give up an original bc it would be too obvious that it was fake? Hmmmm...
