I am on lunch right now at work and I watched some video about Katrina. I was baulling my eyes out. NOW, I read how close you are and continue to baul my eyes out! I sure wish you'd evacuate. For piece of mind anyway. I do understand your choice to stay. Be strong!!!

LOLL..... It must be a hoot to live next door to you Villette...between your signs, the girls pizza hairdo's and everything else I would probably have a smile on my face 24/7 ..... Maximus would probably turn into a peeping tom and try to catch the girls glance all the time!! Be safe and I hope everything turns out well by you..we have room in NY if you need it...!!!! think about it Cheri & Chanel do NY!!!!

Today has shown me how many people I WISH I COULD meet in person - you all are so great and thank you so much - I think those of us in Rita's path MAY be in a little better shape than they predicted ...but there is still a monster coming and we can only pray everyone stays safe....

I know the Evacuation in Houston is just a nightmare. Trying to move out this many people has caused people to already be suffering on the freeways -it's 100 Degree Heat - they're breaking down - running out of gas...and not moving due to the traffic - The news reports are UNREAL....I THINK we'll be ok and have checked in with the Texas people that I personally know - so far we're all just holding our breath like the rest of the country - I just hope it doesn't hit Louisanna really hard - that area can't take another hit like this -

Thank you all for the nice comments on the pictures - I HAD to do that yesterday because I was getting so nervous and the girls always make ME smile - it took all of 5 minutes to print and snap the pic - but you notice they were NOT looking at the camera ? They were looking for that MEAN RITA !

hehe Thanks !! Wanna hear a good one ? After totally barricading my house - moving all breakables away from windows etc...I was looking around tonight to make sure I got most of the work done - and had CLEAN spaces so if glass broke I could pick it up easily -
