Happy Holidays all!
We are having so much fun showing off our new babies......

Here is my new Gold female, as she is from a Champion line! We are planning to breed her to our New full Parti Male, whom we are awaiting a "Special Photo" of him to post.
She will be in heat again soon, so, cross your everything she will take, as she will offer a exceptional outcross to the "Parti" line to give us those Rare and Sought after "Gold and White" Parti genetics!
Pricing will be reasonable to give those an opportunity to diversify their lines....So, give us a shout if you are interested!
Ella says you better watch out, cause Santa is on his way!!!!

Yes, she is adorable, all 5 1/2 pounds of her!
She just started her Heat Cycle, so, I am soooooo Excited! Here is Ella and her sister when they were little.....so, you can see the gold is really strong!!

I will post more info on her pregnancy when I know it.

Mine are Ella the Gold female and Gold Digger the Gold and White AKC Parti female!!!
Here are their photos.
Ella is from the Ch. Gold Line and is in Heat now going to be bred to our Full Parti male, and Gold Digger is also due anytime to be bred to the same male.
I will post the photos of our new male soon.

My gold parti is in heat now soI should have some babies in about 10 weeks. Here are some pups available now from other breeders. first is a boy and the next three are of the same girl.

They are so beautiful! I've never heard of or seen a parti-yorkie!! how are they bred to get the colors??

Some Yorkies carry a recessive gene for the white color. Alot of people will tell you they do not, but the AKC did DNA testing on 42 litters of dogs and determined that it was a naturally occuring color in the dog before allowing them to be registered. Gold (tan or redish) is also a naturally occuring color in the yorkies. The golden parti colors are the result of breeding gold colored yorkies to parti colored yorkie and then breeding the offspring back to a parti colored yorkie. Zoey and Skye are the first two AKC dogs that I know of that they registered as Tan parti color. Other golden partis out there are registered as black and tan parti color.
Currently there are only about 17 Golden parti colored AKC yorkies in existence. That number is slowly going up though, my Golden parti will have pups in a couple months and it is a good possibility that Melissa's new dog will have at least one too.

Well, the hardest part is to understand the breeding of these awesome dogs, because they are from Recessive genetics!
That means, they have the least of the dominant or strong traits to count on......so,

You need to choose wisely in order to get Soundness!
Large enough dogs for Breeding is going to be a big problem, as everyone says they want smaller dogs, but, if you keep breeding a small male to a larger female, you will still result in small Puppy bitches....this is going to continue down to rule out so many options later!
The balance of the bones, and the topline, and the movement, are all characteristics of soundness.....and these come from strong Dominant genes. Unhealthy dogs are not going to be fixed by going to a Vet all the time......as they are genetically broke!

So, look for top examples of the Breed for your foundation stock!
And don't sacrifice Size for Color!
And be very sure you are doing this for the Long term, as these are Living Creatures, and look to you for Love at every step of their existence.
