Zane, the babies on your site are gorgeous as well. Have you noticed much tear staining in the parti's you've seen with white masks/faces? I know it's an issue with maltese in particular, and I was wondering if you have any idea of the incidence in yorkies? Much thanks!

I haven't had any more tear staining than on my standard colored yorkies. When they do get tear marks, they just wash off with a bath.

I will have puppies on Oct 30th. The first dog in this post will have puppies first week of Nov. The breeder of the litter with three golden partis still has one girl but I do not know if they are going to sell her. They also have two golden partis bred to each other two weeks ago.

Parti coloring is caused by recessive genes in yorkies. Most Parti colored Yorkies are White with black patches. A few of us have been able to breed Gold colored yorkies (another recessive gene) with Parti colored yorkies and produce White yorkies with gold patches on them. I am expecting a couple litters that will have parti colored pups in the next few weeks.

OOPS, the dog she is talking about is the one I put as Gold Nugget. I got the name wrong when I posted it. So the photo that I posted as Gold Nugget is Actually "Gold Digger". Sorry about that Melissa
