| Villette- I'm sure everything will be fine. I can imagine how you feel. I left Olivia at the groomer on Saturday morning and nearly cried when I got to the car because she gave me a pleading look like "Mom, please don't leave me here!" I'm sending positive thoughts your way for a successful surgery and Olivia has her paws crossed that all goes well. Let us know when you get the call that Cheri is out of surgery. EDITED: You posted while I was. So glad that everything went well!! |

| is there someone else who can drive you to pick her up? That way all you have to do is hold Cheri and love on her all the way home! I'm glad to hear that the surgery is over and everything is fine. I know what a weight is lifted off of you when you know the worse is over. Now just get your daily chores done so that you can devote the rest of your day to Cheri when she gets home!! |

| Villette...I'm so glad the surgery is behind you and all went well! I remember how sick with worry I was when I had Maddie spayed and I had the appointment for a couple months ahead of time and as the time grew nearer, I got sicker! Leaving them there...watching their pleading eyes as if to say, "Don't leave me," just tears at the heartstrings! One suggestion I have would be to get her a onesie to wear so that she can't get at her stitches. Those collars are so bothersome, and the onesies are so comfy. Maddie couldn't leave her incision alone, so someone here suggested a onesie and she was so cute in them. I hope the time flys by and you have her back with you in no time! Maddie sends puppy kisses to you and your girls! |

| Hugs sent your way... Villette, I just read this post....just walked in the door ...Sophie got her last shots and rabies today...(ugg) and kind of knew something was up when I saw what you responded to on one of our Yorkie members doggies losing teeth... You mentioned Cheri and teeth...but she is being spayed too...I'm glad you just got called....she is snoozing right now I'm certain... You can call in a few hours and check on her...that always helps...and it won't be long till you get her...Do let us know how she is.... I will be having Sophie done...just haven't set my mind on an age...How old is Cheri? You hang in there....hugs to you!

| Villette, one more word of warning/advice..... When I picked Tatum up from her surgery, we got not a half a mile down the road and she threw up.... just a little - more like a spit up. So I pulled over and called the vet right away in case they would want me to bring her back and they said that this was pretty normal and she was just feeling queasy from the anesthetics. Sure enough, she was eating normally within a few hours. Just be prepared JUST IN CASE Cheri is a bit queasy. And try to keep her a little quiet for the rest of the day. So glad she came through with flying colors!

| Yeah! So glad to hear everything went well. Told ya so, told ya so, told ya so! It is very scarey taking them and leaving them there. Their little expressions just melt your heart. Tell Chanel she's going to have to calm down for a couple days to help Cheri recover. Just bring Cheri her favorite toy. Even though she can't play with it, she'll be happy she has it. Good luck this week! |
