| Wow, thank's for all the warm welcome's. Quincy and I both thank you. I feel kinda bad because I've been gone since my last posting. I transport car's over the road and haven't had a chance to work with Quincy. Meaning no crate, and no progress. He has been peeing on the pad, I think. It was him or the cat. At least someone is using it. What's really neet is Quincy loves to go for ride's. So I took him on a short run with me. He insisted on sitting on the arm rest so he could see out. It was really cool. He was so into everything that was going on around him. Finally he pooped out and went to sleep in his bed that I take with me. If I can ever get him trained he will be my travel companion. I'm leaving again tommorow, so it will be a day or to before I'm back. Hopefully I'll have a good report for Quincy. Again , thank's for the welcome's. Cal |

| Congrats on baby Quincy! Are you able to babysit your ex's doggy several days so Quincy will mimic his friend? Give him a really good treat only when he goes outside? Maybe you can find a trustworthy student who wants to become a vet to train him while you're away? I don't know as I was very lucky that Penny came housetrained. Hugs to Quincy!

He is adorable :-) I hope that you will consider training. I kinda get the idea that your dog isn't submissive at all and might be an alpha male from the behavior you described. I think the potty training will go a lot further if you take him to some classes too. I feel bad for the poor little guy, being beat. But, you have to admire his spirit...he's not broken. Good luck and God Bless :-) Annie and Tinkie | |

| Update on Quincy!! Wow,,,guess it's been awhile. Sorry I haven't been back, but here I am now. Hope you guy's forgive me. So anyway. Quincy is doing great. The Vet think's he is over 7 year's old. The crate method worked. I believe he was raised using a crate. He gets in it on his own,,,most of the time. But if it's raining,,,forget about him going out. He just won't do it. Maybe it's something to do with him being lost in the wood's for so long. I believe he was originally owned by a woman. He has attached himself to my mom, and is never a few feet from her. What's strange is she is not an animal lover at all. She refuse's to even pet him, but she is his whole world. At least she feed's him. He has gained 1 1/2 pound's. He spend's all his time with her. It's either laying on the couch snuggled up around her leg's and feet, or out side smoking ciggerett's. He even developed a playfull relationship with the cat. They would chase each other all over the house. Unfortunatly the cat is no longer with us. I'm his second favorite person. But he use's me. He just like's me because I'm the only one that will rub his belly. He just love's that. But once I stop rubbing,,,,it's back to my mom. I guess that's enough for now. I'm sure I've gave too much info. I'll keep you guy's posted. I promise. Cal |

| I am glad he found you...its cruel how people can just kick their dog out..as if there are no emotions attached. I hope he is happy with you and you are happy with Quincy And oh welcome to YT.

| What a great job you are doing with him. The difference between the two pictures is amazing. Just look in his eyes and his ears are up. |

| Awww...He's so cute! Could it be possible that he was paper trained? If you pick up some "Potty Pad's" at the pet store you might try putting one down and see if he uses it..... Especially on a rainy day. Just a thought. |
