Pepper doesn't like her feet wet so I bought here some shoes for when she plays in the snow or put her out on wet grass after a rain. its soooo funny to watch her walk in them at first

I would definitely recommend booties in the snow. I think booties are more important than a coat. Don't buy fancy, leather fitted ones with heels. Those are impossible to walk in. Buy the simplest ones you can find. A fleece sack works just fine. A fleece sack covered with a waterproof material is even better. Velcro the top.

Your pup will hate them at first. But be consistent. Put them on, hold a treat a few feet away from them and don't give up until they take a few steps. Gradually increase the number of steps they take.

It took me about 2 weeks before they stopped fighting me and agreed to go for long walks with booties on. And even now, I have to fight them to get them on. But it makes winter walks tolerable.

Thank for your posting! I will considerate to buy his booties as soon I can. I will find out the material you already describe to me. Also, I will train him to use them... Thanks for your recommendation and help!

Mojo and LilyGrace looks like they are having a BALL! Don't you just love the snowballs that get stuck to the long hair? LOL I took a hair dryer and dried them off, it gets old lol C'mon SPRING!!!!
