| HI there!! It's been my experience with the larger yorkies that they are more likely to have floppies. My boy is 9 pounds and he's got flop ears. Maybe if you keep the hair trimmed as much as you can so they aren't weighed down, they'll have a better chance of standing. I LOVE FLOP EARRED YORKIES, TOO. Check out my OTis in my Avatar!! Forgot to tell you, it does take quite a while before you know if they will stand or not. During their teething they will be different every day, up and down and one up and one down.

| my girl is the same and she's 4 1/2 months old. The breeder just emailed me and asked if she should tape them for me or leave them. I do think floppies are cute but I decided to tape them... but talk about a hard decision! Of course, if they still don't go up then I don't mind she'll just be my cute floppy eared girl. D- |

| I remember my Kimchee used to have one up and one down, and then next day the other way round. He is now 2 years old and when he just woke up from his naps, one of his ears will be floppy, it is so cute though. My another girl who will be 5 months old next week never has floppy ears (so far). I am not sure if hers will come down due to teething, but I have yet to see that. |

| Bridget’s ears are floppy but we never tried to get them to stand. It is funny because when she wants to she can hold them up especially if something has caught her interest. We leave the hair on her ears long. She loves to play. |
