| So Sorry Wow, I am so so sorry your little girl got out and you have not been able to find her. It should make us all stop and think about our own "kids" and be sure that we take precautions with our furbabies so that it does not happen to us. I have three tags on my babies collars (a microchip tag, a county license tag and one I had made with my husband's name on the front and me on the back, both sides with our address, & two phone numbers). BUT, if someone finds them and decides to keep them and yorkies are a prized possession, your chances are slim unless an honest person found her. Hopefully, they will see she was well cared for and make the effort to return her. Again, so so sorry. I do hope she is either found and brought home or she finds her way back home to you. |

| Maybe shes in a shelter. Did you check petfinder? You can lookup your local shelters and see pictures of some of the dogs they found.. |

| This may be a long shot, it may be listed on the other thread, or you may have already done so, but offer a reward to your gas/electric meter reader or trash collection people if they happen to see your baby anywhere. If someone close has it, they may come across it. I'm praying for you, your daugher, and Snickers. |

| just a thought...worth a try... Did your dog have the chip inserted??? If so I would call all the vets and kennels that board dogs and tell them your Yorkie is missing, and ask if they can scan any dogs that come in that are new around the age your yorkie is... that way if some one found him and decided to try and keep him, he would be scanned and your phone and name will come up from the chip. Alert groomers in your area also, even if they can't scan him, they can call with any new dogs coming in around his age. They may even ask questions like, so how long have you had this dog? Where did you get him? It's worth a try. You and your family and your baby dog are in my prayers...

| I can't imagine what you're going through. But, please don't give up hope. There have been many stories in this year alone of yorkies gone missing and found - many after several days. Come on Kentuckians - help find Snickers!!

| God Bless You, we live in Covington...and will keep our eyes peeled...if by chance. I bet someone picked her up...I always say to my husband "if my girl's lost...she won't stay on the streets for long" I'm sure someone grabbed her...you know everyone wants these little dogs these days... God Bless & Good Luck |

| Heather, I am sorry! I sure hope that you find Snickers, or that he finds you. Another suggestion I have would be to actually give all the vets offices and shelters in your area a flyer with his picture and your contact information on it. You might also want to check Craigslist.org, the pet or lost and found section. Put your own ad in there, lots of folks read it. You can put pictures in the ad too, 4 of them. I've seen many pets listed there and they were reunited with their owners. I'll be praying for you and for Snickers! |

| Thanks everyone for the kind words. My Yorkie is still missing. I'm trying not to lose hope. I had a boy call and tell me he thought he seen her dead but this dog had a white flea collar. My little girl slipped out without a collar. I called the shelters and im on the lost list. I even asked my local shelter for the number to call for road kill pickup. Something I wanted to clear my mind of. Guy called me back and said he hadn't been in my area in a while. So that made me feel a little ok. I'll keep wondering and praying.

| Also call your local police dept. Let them know incase someone calls them inquiring if anyone called in a lost dog. My heart goes out to you and your family. I do hope your baby is safe somewhere and finds her way home to you. Prayer's coming for her safe return. Carol & Buddy |

| I know you said you put an ad in the paper, but don't forget to look under the "found" section too. Some may say "small dog found, please Id". I'd sure take a pic to ALL the vets in your area. If someone decided to keep Snickers, they probably will have him vet checked at some point. |

| Prayers for you & your baby. I hope that you are able to find your sweetie. If you are moving, are there neighbors that will look out for her in case she should return. If someone has picked her up & she gets out again, she may head for home. |
