Heather, I am sorry! I sure hope that you find Snickers, or that he finds you. Another suggestion I have would be to actually give all the vets offices and shelters in your area a flyer with his picture and your contact information on it.
You might also want to check Craigslist.org, the pet or lost and found section. Put your own ad in there, lots of folks read it. You can put pictures in the ad too, 4 of them. I've seen many pets listed there and they were reunited with their owners.
