| Omg Its Been A Week Since My Yorkie Went Missing Yep... I'm dying inside.. I've had her since 98. My mom got her for me before my dad died. She has been a part of my 3 year old daughters whole life. My husband has been in tears. I don't know where my baby is and its killing me. I've called shelters and put up signs.. She got out when he got home sunday night 10/15/06 around 11pm.

| I am soooo sorry to hear your baby is lost. Hopefully, somebody found her and is trying to locate her forever family. If you go to the General Forum and then to the 4th thread down "How To Find Lost Yorkies", there will be alot of information for you and suggestions to help you locate her. I am sending prayers for a safe return of your little one. You all take care of yourselves and do whatever you can to let people in your area know that she is missing. I know she misses her family very much and wants to be back home with them. God bless and watch over this little lost soul. Keep us updated.

| Thank you everyone for the kind words. I've never had an animal be this close to me. Its hard since my daughter doesn't understand where her snickers is. I think back when she was little and just memories of her. This what its like to have a missing child? I have put flyers up. Gottin a few calls. Guy called and had seen her last monday morning a few streets down. I had a guy call me and said he thinks he seen her dead on the rd several several streets down the other way from the guy who seen her monday. Guy who said he thinks he seen her dead said it was last tuesday morning. We went door to door asking.. No one had seen a dead dog. Guy in a van even stopped us and said there had been a terrier killed over 2 weeks ago but it had a collar. My yorkie had gottin a bath and we didnt get a chance to put her collar back on. Its hard not knowing. At this point she has to be with someone or dead. Over a week in the rain and cold. I dunno its hard.. I put an ad in the paper for this week. Just to kinda keep trying. I've talked to local shelters.. I just want her home! My husband and I are getting back together we were seperated so im in the process of moving. Not too far but still moving. When im at my place I always check around and even look at the back door hoping she would be there.

| So Sorry Wow, I am so so sorry your little girl got out and you have not been able to fine her. It should make us all stop and think about our own "kids" and be sure that we take precautions ourselves so that it does not happen to us. I have three tags on their collers (microchip tag, county license and one I had made up with my husband on the front and me on the back with two different phone numbers). BUT, if someone finds them and decides to keep them and yorkies are a prized possession, your chances are slim unless an honest person found her. Hopefully, they will see she was cared for and make the effort to return it. Again, so so sorry. I do hope she is either found and brought home or she finds her way back home to you. |
