| That was a great article and thank you for sharing. Poor sweet little Dior what a horrible story! I pray that you get every penny even though we all know all the money in the world will not bring back your Dior or fix this tragedy. ![]()

| All, Thank you for your support! I felt a bit hurt and sad on some of the posting from the article in the dailynews. My intention is about getting awareness for others so no one have to suffer or go through what I went through. It is painful but I was able to continue on due to your friendships and encouragement! The money don't mean anything to me at all.... I want to use it to benefit other animals out there and be able to bless them! This would honor Dior because he was my biggest blessing. He wasn't just a property to me.... he doesn't deserve anything less than being heard. Thank you so much and God bless! |

| I am so proud of you for suing and speaking up for Dior and all the little ones. Your story really touched me and made me so much more cautious. I, too, live in NYC and have told so many people your and Diors story ( like I knew you). I have embedded the fact to any person that has watched Keoki that if they see a big dog cross the street while walking him because of you. I hope you ill keep us all informed- I'm rooting for you girl and know that justice will be served. It is the principle- people need to take responsibility so senseless acts like this don't happen again. I will be praying for you!!!! |

| I am so deeply sorry that Dior was taken from you. I admire you for taking actions to publicize the attack. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you must suffer every time that event is replayed in your memory. I hope you win your lawsuit, not for the sake of the $$, but to vindicate Dior and to send out a warning against irresponsible dog ownership especially for those who own the "bully breeds" I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. |

| Dear Elaine, At least something good will come out of this terrible tragedy. You have a court case and already publicity over what happened. Dior's death will not be in Vain. These people should not ever get that dog back. It is dangerous and should be destroyed. They say it never happened before. What if it does again and this time it's someone's human baby. If it had happened in Lancaster that dog would've already been gone. They do not support owners and threir aggressive dogs. THANK GOD. I walk my Baron and if anything happened to him, I'D ATTACK THE DOG AND THE IDIOT OWNER. I'm sending Blessings your way to help to heal your broken heart. Dior's up in Heaven saying you go MOM !!! Baron and his over zealous Mommy

| Sometimes we just don't know what to say. This is a terrible thing that happened to you. I know God is an awsome God he never gives us more than we can handle. During your time of pain just call on him. I know Dior suffered however, he is not suffering now he is without pain he is surround with all those others animals who God has called home.

| I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you get 5 times what you're asking in the lawsuit. I just can't believe that dog was returned to the owner. My heart breaks for everything you have been through. |

| That made me cry .... I am so very sorry of the tragic loss of your Dior. It is good that you are taking action against the owner of the Pitbull. Regardless of the breed, this was 100% preventable. Shame on the owner for not being responsible. Good for you in pursuing a case against her !

| I just can't imagine how ghastly that must have been for you! RIP dear little Dior. You are SO brave to take this to court as it is not easy when your heart is breaking, to cope with a court case. I can imagine just how hurtful some of those nasty comments were to you. Please ignore people like that - remember it says far more about them than you. Some of the comments sickened me. I am sure we are all going to be praying for the success of your case. It is about time that people took responsibility for their dogs. I find that many people walk big dogs without their lead and I have to grab Tootsy and hold on tight as their dog races towards us. The owners say things like ' oh, he won't hurt you' or ' he has had breakfast' I don't find this funny - I am disabled and have to use a disability scooter, so it is very frightening when a big dog rushes at us. There are signs all around where I walk Tootsy, saying that dogs must be on a lead, but people just ignore them. The council just doesn't seem interested in enforcing the law regarding leads either. So sadly, it seems successful court cases, where people have to pay up large sums in compensation, are the only way to make people take more responsibility for their dogs. May God heal your broken heart and 'hide' those ghastly memories from your mind - I will be praying for you. luv Yvonne xx |

| I'm so sorry this happened to you. People that own pit bulls need to teach them how to be around other dogs, I'm not saying that it was a total accident and that you shouldn't have sued, it was terrible that this happened, but at the same time this is the kind of thing that makes pit bulls look like bad dogs. My cousin Amada had a pit bull living in the housse with a minpin and a poodle, and never once did it attack, because she taught it to be nice. It's sickening, because this person probably allowed the dog to be aggressive. You know they're actually trying to pass a law to have ALL pit bulls "terminated". They want to wipe out the whole breed for irresponsible owners like the one who allowed your baby to be killed. I can't imagine how you must feel, I live in fear that my cocker spaniel is going to eat my baby, living in a city with big dogs must be hard. I'm praying for you, and hopefully your story will encourage pit bull owners to be more responsible about how they raise their dogs so that this never happens to anyone else.

| I'm so sorry about little Dior. Our little Yorkie was attacked by a pitbull when she was 13. A construction worker on our house had a pitbull with him (we of course had no idea). It literally pushed its way through a screen door and grabbed Pebbles by the neck. It's intentions were certainly to kill. It was so sudden and quick, thank God my father got her out of the Pits mouth in time. She had severe puncture wounds around her neck. My Dad's hands were in rough shape as well. Miraculously, after several weeks of 24 hour care from me (I had to leave my job over this), she came out of it fine. The Pits owner gave us the same song and dance we've all heard..."She's just the sweetest thing, she's NEVER done anything like this before...blah,blah,blah..." I am so sorry Dior's story didn't end better. I'm so fed up with these pet owners with vicious dogs. They should be caged or outlawed. We should not have to walk around in fear on the streets or even in our own homes! |
