| Apparently Mutts & Mom's is stating that their adoption policy states that their dogs will not be placed in homes with children under 14! And the girls are 11 and 12! unreal. I understand the need to screen families before adopting out these animals, but some of the rules in place make it very difficult for people to adopt from rescue shelters. They turn away alot of potential pet owners that would provide wonderful homes to the too many homeless animals out there. The shelter could have handled the situation differently. The main concern is that Iggy should be in a loving home not a shelter. |

| I too looked into adoption and you would not beleive all the questions they ask you! It is just such a shame that they don't make it an easier process. Ellen did the right thing in my opinion! ~Melody

| I signed too. I have a question regarding the $3000 Ellen paid in adoption fees. Am I the only one that feels that's a bit high? What did she pay for that costs that much? Anyone know?

| She said she donated $600 for the dog (I'm guessing she donated more than asked). The rest was to have the dog spayed (she said she even paid to take the vet to take him home with him that night) and training to try to get him used to the cats. |

| I just read an article online....Mutts & Moms has no intentions of giving the dog back. The lady that runs Mutts&Moms says, she will not be bullied by Ellen. Its not about Ellen.....its about finding a loving home for the dog. Grrrrr..this makes me so angry!!!!! She says she will not break the rules.....doesn't she know rules are broken everyday for good causes? BTW, mutts&moms website has been taken down ....I am assuming because of all the threats they are getting!!! http://www.eonline.com/news/article/...21&sid=fd-news
