Apparently Mutts & Mom's is stating that their adoption policy states that their dogs will not be placed in homes with children under 14! And the girls are 11 and 12! unreal. I understand the need to screen families before adopting out these animals, but some of the rules in place make it very difficult for people to adopt from rescue shelters. They turn away alot of potential pet owners that would provide wonderful homes to the too many homeless animals out there. The shelter could have handled the situation differently. The main concern is that Iggy should be in a loving home not a shelter.
