| I have a teal lighted tree for my dog ornaments. There's mostly labs on there but last year I added yorkie or two. Now with Bella, I'll have to get more and some pomeranians too.

| We had Jake last Christmas, and we didn't have any problems with him. We did have to watch closely when we were opening gifts, though. He liked to try to take the wrapping paper and run with it! He never bothered the Christmas tree, but he did like to look at it. He really enjoyed Christmas when everyone was over, he was so excited! And, he LOVED that he was allowed to open up his gifts. He didn't like when we would take the paper away, but he would still be happy when he saw a new toy!

| I have a Fiber Optic tree. So i don't have to buy lights. and it doesn't hold much decoration but still looks gorgeous i'll try to take photos this year! last year we had a female yorkie and she was 7 yrs old and not in good health so she didnt mess with anything. BUT this year is going to be a whole different story. Cody gets into everything so i can't wait to see what he will try to do!! Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday i start playing christmas songs the 1st of Dec. we put our tree after thanksgivings its all been a family tradition! I know its early but HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone and their furbabies!!! |

| My dogs have never bothered with the tree or decorations but I make sure they are not around it unsupervised. |

| Therapy Dog Donating Member | Shelby & Seymour's mommy...you have a great idea and how cute they both look under their very own Christmas tree. I have three cats and tinsel is an absolute no-no and I try to keep ornaments a little higher, but none of my cats are tree climbers like some of our friends' cats who love to climb up the Xmas tree - our three like to just sit under it so I'm hoping that Izzy does the same this year as this will be her first Christmas. I have a small pink Christmas tree that I bought at a local card shop the day after Christmas so I will use that as Izzy's own tree (MissPinkBarbie I thought of you when I was in the attic this week getting my fall stuff out and saw my pink tree - you should get one!!).

| Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | I have my 2 yorkies and a 14 yr old cocker spaniel mix. I have never had any problem with any of them messing with the tree and/or ornaments. In fact, laying under the tree used to be a favorite spot for my older dog. If you're concerned, I'd just keep an eye on them and the decor while you're home and when you're away, I think the x-pen around the tree sounds like a great idea. Here's a few festive Christmas pics to get you guys in the mood....

| I'm going to put an XPen around the front of the tree if the dogs are bothering it. I was going to wind red and green ribbons through the xpen or cover it with a fabric panel or something so it wasn't so clearly a gate |

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Last Christmas was Bengi's first and we didn't have any problems at all. Al first he was a little curious about the new strange object in the living room, but I told him "no" from the start so he never messed up with it. Hopefully, next xmas will be the same |

| I haven't had trouble with them touching the tree. Just trying to lay under it. The pen sounds like a great idea.

| Koda was very good aroung the xmas tree last year, She protected all the presents as well (She was only 3.5 months) and what a good little sweety she was. She made the tree blanket her own and everyday she used to just lay down and protected
