| Your baby is so cute! My Biggie is 7 months and currently weighs 8.5 pounds. I was concerned of his large size at first, but after reading about Teapots on YT, I realized that Yorkies do come in all sizes. The smaller Yorkies are cute, but so are the larger ones...they are just a bit more sturdy than the smaller ones that's all. Below are pics of Biggie. As you can see he is just like your baby, 100% Yorkie. http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...Picture254.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...Picture270.jpg Last edited by yasminv1; 08-03-2007 at 03:50 AM. | Donating YT 500 Club Member | Hi! Here is one of MANY threads on the aforementioned teapots. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ghlight=teapot I've got a 14-pounder. He could stand to lose a pound or two, but he has always been much bigger than standard. Even so, he's ALL Yorkie. Just ignore the comments and queries. People just don't know. YT has helped me realize that I'm not alone. Here's my baby who is now 10. |

| As you can see from the other posts, yorkies come in all sizes. They are a very unique breed. There is such a wide variety of sizes and coloring. The breed standard for showing is 7 pounds or less. but it doesn't mean they are not yorkies if they ar over 7 pounds. In most other breeds, if you've seen one, you've seen them all. Not true with yorkies. That is just part of their charm. They are not "one size fits all". |

| Snooki is a very handsome bigger boy Yorkie. My Rudy weighs 14.5 lbs and maybe more now, he loves treats. My husband says Rudy is a big "solid" boy. We love him no matter what size he is. So you are not alone in having a bigger Yorkie. Like V said, 15 lbs is still a small dog. Hugs to Snooki from Rudy.

| You came to the right place to find the Larger Yorkie. Welcome and now Snooki is a new member of the "Teapot" club a name someone started to refer to the bigger Yorkie's,. Buddy is 15.5lbs according to my vet. He has been 13.5 for two years. I have been meaning to weigh him from home but keep forgetting. I think the vet's scale was off. I hope. LOL Snooki is adorable and certainly is a full Yorkie. Looks like Buddy now has a new Teapot friend. |

| He's really adorable. My puppy is only 4 months old, but at the rate she's growing I think the sky's the limit. She gained well over a pound in one month! Your little guy is just so cute.

| I wouldn't worry about his size.. just love him the way he is.. just to let you know that the litter that our Hannah Mae came from .. she had a large brother in the litter.. when we picked Hannah Mae up.. he was almost 3 times her size.. it happens. They are larger, but they are still Yorkies. Give him big hugs and kisses from Jen and Hannah Mae , He is so cute.. love the picture with the hat on..

| He has such an adorable face. Both my kids are bigger. Winston is 8 lbs, tall and long. Maggie is 7.6lb all round. No matter what size, Yorkies are the best!!!!
