Tink we did hear about your incident with the frog...it's okay...things, accidents happen. I posted in your frog thread...about Winston finding a baby bird too. Luckily he learned "leave it" a long time ago...and he did, what a good boy he was. I gave him a treat instead of the baby birdie, he was just as happy with the treat, and left the bird alone so hubby could remove it from our yard. All the time the mommy and daddy birds were dive bombing Winston...that was the scariest part of our incident, the baby was just fine. Thank goodness. Sorry your frog didn't make it, but I know, you didn't know you could hurt it...and I'm sure you and your mommy feel bad for the frog. Hugs to you both!!!

I have given some thought to your question about the frog. Did you think if you found a real frog, chomped on it, that the frog would turn into a handsome prince for your Momma? You know she watches romantic movies, and that probably gave you ideas.

However, my sweet pigeon, frogs are slimy, have warts and make croaking sounds. I don't think they turn into a handsome prince. Why, I do believe my Momma has met a few frogs in her lifetime.

You just explain to your Momma that you are growing up, and have a keen interest in nature. Winston enjoys the fine art of hunting game. I believe Bernie brought something home to his Momma that she didn't like at all.

As for the word "scandal", I think we shouldn't discuss the full of significance of "scandal" until you have your birthday or older. Even then, Uncle Charlie will have to be delicate in the description with such a wee lassie.

Thinking of you this evening, Tinkerbelle and we are fortunate to have such nice friends as Maya, Winston, Bernie and Ginger.

I forgot to tell you that when I was walking tonight with Momma, I snuck under some bushes, made a lot of racket and Momma yelled "Charlie, stop that". Well, there was something under the bushes that didn't smell like a dog. I have seen them before, and sometimes they look like Mountain Lions - big, huge furry things and they hiss.

Anyway, I got very dirty and now I have to be cleaned up! Fooey four times, so I can't join your club because I will be not dirty anymore.

PSS Momma says I better learn to be nicer to those creatures because when we go to California for Christmas, there are two of those Mountain Lions that are bigger than me. You know what? When I was visiting in July, I ran them out of the house and showed them who was boss. Darn, Momma just glared at me for bragging. Fooey five times.
