| I found a few places in the past couple years that have said "no pets" and I've asked anyway. We got lucky both times. I explained the size of my dogs, the fact they are potty trained, not big barkers and that I would be willing to increase my security deposit substantially. Both those times everything worked out fine....got our security back with no problems. I don't think I'd try and sneak them in....by law they could ask you to leave and keep the week's rental fee. Good Luck....hope you find a lovely vacation spot!

| What I have found is that when you start looking for a place to stay-look for the dog friendly-also try the www.vrbo.com..you can email or call the owners personally...if their rental is occupied they may know someone that will rent to you with your dog sometimes, that is what happened to us just a couple of weekends ago when we were going up to the Smoky Mountains at the last minute and I was trying to find a cabin that I could take Lillybelle, one person would refer me to another, until we found our cabin. Also look at the chamber of commerce for the location you are going to. I now have a list of pet friendly rentals....but I would make sure they know you have your little baby! Good luck-I know you will find the perfect cabin. |
