What I have found is that when you start looking for a place to stay-look for the dog friendly-also try the
www.vrbo.com..you can email or call the owners personally...if their rental is occupied they may know someone that will rent to you with your dog sometimes, that is what happened to us just a couple of weekends ago when we were going up to the Smoky Mountains at the last minute and I was trying to find a cabin that I could take Lillybelle, one person would refer me to another, until we found our cabin. Also look at the chamber of commerce for the location you are going to. I now have a list of pet friendly rentals....but I would make sure they know you have your little baby!
