				 | Honestly, I wouldn't mind a non-poisonous non-aggressive snake being carried in a store. I had someone bring a little one in the store I work at before. It really didn't bother me..I just didn't go near it. I am afraid of snakes and would stay away from it, but I guess if someone feels the need to take it somewhere..okay... Still would never have a snake as a pet though.

				 | I am one of those who takes my Gus EVERYWHERE. He has always been really good about that. I have many different carriers that hide him well and people don't even know he's there. For those of you who have seen Gus's back it up video,,, all he has to do is see me put my shoes on and grab my keys and he'll run to the nearest carrier and back in right into it. My views on this sub changed when we went to the movies. I was coming out of the restroom with Gus just chillin in his carrier like always,,, and seen some lady with a puppy in the hallway peeing in the corner. I couldn't believe it! I asked outloud,,,, are you letting you dog pee in here?!?! She then picked up the puppy and walked away. I didn't quite know what to do. After all I had Gus in the movie theater too and we were in the middle of our movie. I ended up reporting the lady to the manager. I did not see which way she went but showed them where the mess was. I totally understand why dogs are not allowed everywhere. I still take Gus everywhere. Even our local walmart. There are few people who know us and as long as he is out of sight they don't have a problem. Do I think it's fare that I get to take Gus to these places? No! That's why he's very well hidden!

				 | It's just one of the nice things about having a small, well-behaved, quiet dog and a good carrier to hide them in...it may not be fair that larger dogs or those less quiet don't get to go everywhere, but LIFE IS NOT FAIR! If someone has a big dog and they are upset about not being allowed and small dogs are, too bad - they should have gotten a small dog

				 | omg.. tonight i went to walmart and as i was walking out of the bathroom some worker passes by, looks down at eloise just perfectly content in her juicy carrier and like a complete moron looks me in the eye and goes "nuh uh!" [yes, she really said nuh uh]... and i figured she was going to make some comment about how tiny eloise was or something, as another worker said in the same store just like 2 days before... so i kind of smile and when i notice how bitchy she looks i'm like "what?" and she goes "you can not have THAT DOG in here" ...and my sister goes "we're about to leave"..... and right when we get to the check out, the f**king retard follows us and yells "NUH UH NUH UH" and i was just walking, ignoring her ...then my sister turns and goes "yeah, we're at the check out, we're leaving" and the skank goes "NO, get THAT DOG out of here now" so i had to f**king wait outside. that stupid bitch.. omg i was soooo pissed off. all that comes to mind is pure jealousy. psch.. but really.. i know a 2 1/2 lb yorkie IN A CARRIER isn't going to cause a huge deal. i take her everywhere else... The worker could have showed a little more class and nicely explained to you the store's policy on pets being not allowed and asked you to please take your dog outside. The one time I was asked to leave the mall where my parents live because dogs aren't allowed the security guard was at least nice and just told me i needed to leave as soon as my sister paid for her things. Since she was so rude, I wouldn't have bought the items...I would have told her that you were leaving and wanted to pay real quick but since she was so rude to you you were not going to buy there and I would have complained to the manager. I mean honestly, someone could have their dog in there that honestly doesn't know that Walmart doesn't allow dogs and that employee needs to learn how to be tactful and nicely explain the policy to customers. I also want to add, that I try to never go in walmart..

				 | The employee sounds like they weren't exactly very customer service oriented, but I have to say that at Walmart I frequently experience the same rudeness that is non yorkie related so it may have just been the person's personality. Although most people know that Walmart are non dog friendly so it really wasn't the employees fault for communicating to you that the dog could not be in the store, but they could have done it a bit nicer. |

				 | I went to target I have a huge gucci hobo bag. Cupcake always finds away to wake up, and peek her head out when I am trying to sneak her in some where. We went to Target, and they told me only service dogs allowed. I told them she was a seeing eye dog. lol They laughed and let me go in. They have a new mall here that is dog friendly. You can take dogs everywhere. I was in Victoria secret and there were 4 other dogs there too. I loveit! It has water bowls at each store for dogs,a huge dog park in the middle,50 ft fire hydrant ect..They need more places like this |

				 | Oh come on. She was venting. I myself don't curse and try to keep a clean mouth...but I wasn't "offended." She bleeped out words and I don't think she broke any forum rules.

I really want to take one of the furkids, but I'm just not sure who to take! Kenzie still gets nervous in crowds, so I'm not sure if I should take her and I know Bentley will mark on something and I would die of embarrassment, lol. | |

				 | i agree, my language was pretty immature.. i was just really upset, venting. and if she wouldn't have been so rude, i would have said i didn't know and appologised, and then go wait outside. i'm sure anyone who was treated so rudely would have reacted this way. |
