And after 3 and a half hours of grooming you let that beautiful yorkie out
to go potty before bedtime and he turns and looks back at you, all clean and
pretty, he smiles a little smile that warms your heart so deeply that words
can never say. A picture you will remember forever. When the she comes back
in you realize he has been rolling in the dead bird/squirrel you thought you
carefully buried that morning. So you star all over

I got my yorkie the day before fathers day this year. And I must agree with all of those. I have rocked mine to sleep and we sleep on the couch. Of course him having more of the room to sleep. lol
he wakes me up at 7 am every morning ready to go out and come in to play.

but theres nothing i wouldnt do for him. i love him sooooo much!

all of the above except sleeping on the floor--never had to do that, but I would have if I had to...

AND you love your yorkie when you wipe their butts after they've pooed to make sure that they are clean and fresh smelling--people laugh at me for doing that one...

also, you love your yorkie when she chews a hole in your BRAND NEW leather chair and you can't get angry with her.

She gets amish chicken for two weeks straight while we get regular meat.

You put a soft chair and a blanket in the kitchen while you do dishes so she can be by you.

You think she is cuter than any skin baby ever.

You know you love your Yorkie when:
You spend an unbelievable amount of money on dental surgery for her and you haven't been to the detist in a couple years.

AND

You know you love your Yorkie when:
You think it is the most adorable thing when she squats to pee.

I wait until my husband gets home from work. Then he has to go in the other room with the door shut and hold Zoey while I vacuum. I love this thread because it means Im not crazy... or im not crazy alone anyway!!!! TEE HEE

All of this does bring back memories.

When we brought Kacee home, we took the bed frame out from under the mattresses for awhile. Our mattresses are those huge thick one's.

When she was spayed, I slept on the floor with her that night.

She was so pitiful and miserable. If she moved, you could tell it hurt. But she was much, much better the next day.
