Horrible experience at PETCO today~ i am so upset :(

The pics are kind of small, but he looks all Yorkie to me!!! I would go back to Petco, see the store manager in person, tell him what happened and that you had a cart of items and didn't purchase them. Ask for the Corporate address (even though you can find it online) and then leave. Then I would write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper and any place else you could get the word out and let the manager know what you're going to do.

That was cruel treatment by those employees and no one should have to put up with that. I really think they will be looking for new jobs once you talk to the manager and corporate!

Don't beat yourself up! Who cares what the jerk at Petco thinks. Koda isadorable and looks like 100% yorkie to me. As long as you love him thats all that matters!

Don't be sad , he is an adorable Yorkie . When I go out with my new rescued ones , peoples always asked me why I am bringing 3 rats with me . I always asked them " when was the last time you look at yourself in the mirror ? ".

That's to bad that what was supposed to be a pleasant trip to the pet store turned into an unpleasant encounter for you & Koda....This employee clearly overstepped his bounds.... I don't recall reading where you solicited his opinion on your Koda, just by his tone & numerous ?'s he was baiting you... he was one of those "know it all" types, a response for that is,"I don't recall asking for your opinion." & leaving.... You know you bought a yorkie, clearly this boob has no clue that yorkies come in different sizes, colors & looks... he probably has this cookie cutter image of those tiny pups in those t-cup pic.'s that we all see in advertisements & thinks ALL yorkies look like that. Remember..."He who angers you, conquers you"...If your still bothered by his rudeness just go back & speak to the manager & stay calm ...Koda is clearly a yorkie as everyone here is telling you...& we ARE the real experts on what a yorkie looks like

i think he is adorable and he is YOURS! i know you don't want to go back to petco, but i think i would go back and lurk until i saw the guys again. i would have pen and paper ready and get their names...then start complaining! good luck!

I am very sorry for your experience at Petco! That is truly awful, and you were a much better person than I would've been in that situation! Your baby DOES have a sweet face. You should've asked those brats how many yorkies they have and what makes them such experts. I would still think about talking to their manager, walk around the store with him and point those little, excuse me here, SOB's out! Obviously they don't know too much about Yorkies, mine weighed almost three pounds at 3 months, now he's 7 months and is only a little over 4. We've seen the pictures of your precious baby, and since WE ARE THE EXPERTS we know you have a true, purebred yorkie and we at Yorkie Talk are the only ones that matter, am i right? haha BIG hugs and Yorkie kisses coming your way!

That employee was very wrong and sounded like a TOTAL MORON !!! Don't let ignorant people rent space in your head - your Koda is ADORABLE ! If I were you I'd report him to management and tell them thanks to him you'll never be back and will tell ALL your friends how you were treated......but other than that - don't give him another thought.

First of all Koda is 100% yorkie...he doesnt look like anything else!! Secondly I would have had their manager there so fast it would have made their head spin!!! I would still contact the manager today and tell him/her how you were harassed right out of the store...heck if the manager doesnt do anything Id even go higher!! You didnt deserve any of this..even if Koda wasnt 100% yorkie (which he IS) what the heck is it to them??? I am so sorry you had to go through that...unfortunately it happens all to often to us yorkie owners..I think its complete jealousy!!

I'm so sorry you were mistreated like that. That's horrible. Koda looks every bit Yorkie as any I've ever seen, even more so than some. He's a sweetheart! I would be curious to know just what those 2 idiots think a Yorkie SHOULD look like. I've always had very positive and enjoyable trips to PetCo (except for the one trip to the groomers there), so I'm truely surprised. But, now I know where there will be 2 job openings, if anyone is interested. Not to worry, Koda couldn't possibly be anything but 100% Yorkie. (I wonder who did those guy's Lobotomy's - they did an excellent job! ).

Koda is a 100% yorkie doll He's reall cutie pie! It seems today that customer service is a lost art in most stores and your experience is a prime example.

Like someone posted earlier, I'd have asked for the manager in a heartbeat and wouldn't have left until he/she knew EXACTLY how I felt about the poor way I was treated.

Enjoy your precious little baby and don't listen to crap like that anymore!

I'm so sorry about your Petco experience.....some people should learn to just keep their mouths shut. Simple rule to live by....if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything!
