For some, you restored faith, for others you brought hope and belief that despite what we see and hear on the news, there are a heck of a lot more good in this world than bad. Thank you Papi - You gave us the best gift of all.

I will forever think of this wonderful miracle everytime I hear a mother sing "Patticake, patticake, bakerman" to her precious baby.

This is not the end of this lovely story...It is really only the beginning...The start of a lifetime of happy memories for our dear Papi and sweet little Patticake. Knowing that Papi is happy, has reason to smile again, is really what I was praying for...dreaming of...constantly thinking about.
Lori and Bre welcome home, I am so happy to hear you had a grand time on your adventure across America, and I thank you so much for being able to do what many, many of us wanted to do. Elaine you opened not only your home, but also your heart...oh what a feeling that must be, thank you.
I know, I for one, wanted to be a part of this YorkieTrain...but unfortunately that was not in the cards. I do feel as though, you all allowed us, yes many of us total strangers into your lives, and I thank you for the opportunity to do so. The entire family here at YT, now has a bond, that can never be broken, it's the bond of hope, of love and genuine concern for another. Good evening my friends,

I was going to begin relating our meeting on Saturday, June 2nd with Elaine, Lori and Bre and Patticake, but was anxious to get some images of Patticake for you to see, the first 3 are on Kassie and my thinking, meditation rock, and Patticake befor I gave her a trim.

I can't tell you how much I so love Patticake, she is more than I could have ever expected or hoped for, and oddly I see so many things in her as in Kassie, I can't believe she bonded to me in a matter of a few day's, I can honestly say we're attached at the hips, just so unbelivable, she 's funny, oh, ever so smart for a 4 month old, she's fiesty, rambunctious, testy and aggressive in a playful way, already loves going for car drive's, and has her nose to window just like Kassie, it didn't happen suddenly, I took her on more than normal short drive's to get her used to traffic and noise, went to convient store more than usual, parked right in front so she could get accustomed to a lot of people, she has amazingly in such a short period become acclamated to many new experiences for her, I'm am in total awe, if I didn't know better, I would say, think, Kassie is in her, then this may just be natural for Yorkie's, she has already become my shadow, I can't move, go to any room without her right there, she even as Kassie, follows me in bathroom, sit's and wait's till I'm ready to leave, in 5 day's she has become so much like Kassie, that I feel Kassie never left, yesterday she learned to go up and down 2 flights of stairs, 12 steps, special treat's I have did the trick, there is so much more I can tell you, I'm trying to fit much more than I possibly can right now, in one post, I'm just so excited about her, and love her so very much, she is just so adorable and affectionate, she has given me a new spirit, and awakening if you will, life is once more so beautiful, a joy, the loneliness is gone, I have a companion who by the way is sleeping in bed with me, up against me, and I haven't slept so restfully, all night in months, ahhhhh sweet sleep, just what the doctor prescribed along with a Yorkie to love for good health and a hearty appetite.

My dear, dear friends, Patti, Corinne, Connie, Lori and Elaine thank you for making this all possible, and all you my friends for your love and the overwhelming support you provided in so many generous way's to them, they could never have accomplshed this extroidinary miracle without each and everyone of you, nor would I have ever had the ability to have another Yorkie, precious Patticake in my life, I will never be able to thank you in theway you are so deserving of, I can only offer you my sincere, and heartfelt gratitude for bringing joy, and happiness back into my life, I don't know if you will ever understand the depth of what all your love and generosity has done for me, perhaps one word may sum it up "life" wanting to get up in the morning, a will to live. truly how would it be possible for me to ever thank you enough, I thank you my friends for giving Patticake to me, thank you very much.

Awww Papi I loved all the pictures. Just look at patticake all trimmed up and a big smile on her face. I bet Cassie has that same smile looking down at both of you. Those are great. Im so glad she makes you want to get up and start your day. Dont worry shes not gonna let you sleep in she has to much to do, to much to explore, to much fun things to do to stay in bed to long. lol

Oh, Papi -- so glad you could post. I knew you've been so busy with Patticakes and getting her introduced to her environment and all her new friends. And, I know you've probably been making up for some long absent snuggle time .

Seeing your note and the pictures -- which are ADORABLE by the way -- brought happy tears to my eyes. I know I will snuggle my own dear boy all the tighter tonight as we call it a night momentarily.

I've only been on YT a few short months and have been so blessed to come across so many wonderful people and to get to be a very small part of the Yorkie Train. As wonderful as it sounds like this has been for you, please know it has been equally so for all of us.

God bless you and little Patticakes. I know Kassie had a paw in this so you should not at all be surprised by finding a little of her in Patticake, too. I also hope that you know she also has a little of all your YT friends, too.

Awwww...... Patticake is sooooooooo cute! You did a great job trimming her!

You have no idea how happy you made us with your post! Just to hear the happiness in your words is like music to my ears! Sleep is very good indeed!

I do believe there is a little bit of Kassie's spirit is in Patticake, after all, Kassie is the one who led you to YorkieTalk, and through her love, brought Patticake to you. Kassie's memory will live on through Patticake, just as Jewel continues to live through Jolie & Jen for us.

I am (as I'm sure the rest of YT are) looking forward to reading about all the various adventures to come!

Evening my friends,

I would like to share 4 more pictures of Patticake after trimming, as some of you know, I have only had Patticake 5 day's now, and she is a most unique and special Yorkie, her coat was very, very thick and as cute as she was, she looked like she was about 5lbs. I thought I would see how she would react to my cutting her coat, well was I in for a surprise, she did not fuss or resist in anyway, she just layed there let me trim from her ear's to her bottom, and in between as if she had been through this a thousand time over, she is just one amazing, unbelivable furball, I love her so, so much.

I weighed Patticake on a postal scale, sort of held, balanced her on it, though not the ideal way, in any event she tipped the scale at a whopping 2 1/2 lbs. give an inch here or there, Oh, sorry, I meant ounce.
