Help, what should I do?

I just read this post and I'm happy to see you reported him. What he did is out right animal abuse, cruelty to animals is illegal and uncalled for. I'm glad to see you made a report of it and let them handle this matter!!! YEAH for you!!!! No animal deserves that mistreatment. I hope they fine him to teach him a lesson.

I would report him. Poor little thing! At least by doing that, his wife will know what he does when he's alone with the dog and hopefully she'll take the appropiate measures

I would, without a doubt, report him. These poor little dogs can't take abuse like that, and there is no reason to abuse a dog of any size!

I know you don't want to upset the wife, but if he hurts that poor baby badly, that would be even more upsetting to her.

Here's the update. The RSPCA have been out to visit the dog owner today, the officer rang me from her van as she was outside the house to let me know what had happened. The husband was at work but she spoke to the woman, now she knows about her husband kicking the dog! The officer examined the dog and she said it doesnt seem to be injured but she is coming back to speak to the husband about the incident to find out his reasons for doing it etc. Im so glad that the dog is okay and that it has been brought out into the open that this poor little dog is abused, I do hope that it was only a one off and that the dog will be safe. I felt helpless when I saw him kicking the dog and didn't know which way to turn, but all your advice made me make the right decision...THANKYOU SO MUCH!

Oh good! What a relief, I'm so glad the dog is okay. I wonder what the guys going to say; that's great that the RSPCA officer is keeping you so updated. I look forward to seeing the next update!

Oh that por dog my heart aches for it. I was thinking the whole time If he does this to the dog Is he doing it to his wife too? I hope that all is ok in that home the Man needs to be kicked!

Wow that is wonderful! You certainly did the right thing. I wonder what the woman in the wheelchairs reaction was???? Maybe you could befriend her by bringing over some cookies or something and then offer to take her dog for a walk. Im so sorry that you lost your owm baby, and maybe you would really enjoy taking this little one out now and then, and by doing this lady this favor you would be making yourself happy too Anyways, good JOB!

Did the officer say what the woman's reaction was? I fear what she might have to put up with if he is abusive to her as well. What if he gets really angry and demands that she give up the dog?

I knew a couple where the man hated his wife's cat so much they got a divorce. He tried to bully her into giving it away but she had had if for a very long time and decided that she didn't want to be married to a man that hated any kind of animal. Good for her huh?
