| Jeepers! I must have missed all this! Are people really fighting over Member/Pet of the Month? Last month I posted a funny reply from Wexy about her wanting to win! I hope that wasn't taken seriously! It was only meant as a joke! I guess I'll go read the pages and pages of posts under Member of the Month to find out what's going on. BTW, what is a troll? I know about the fairytale ones, but not the modern day ones! Elizabeth

| Elizabeth, a troll is someone who comes to a site, joins as a member, and starts to post for the purpose of stirring up controvery. diva pup, back down a little dear. No one here insulted you personally, yet you have said some things in your post that have definatly insulted this forum. That's uncalled for and it's exactly the thing that has people upset. IMO, if you don't like it here, leave. But you're certainly welcome to stay. There is always room for another opinion. But insults are not allowed.

| Come on everybody, This is a YORKSHIRE TERRIER SITE not "Oprah" I am off to visit my daughter and 7 grandchildren in Tulsa for a couple of days, I hope you all get this figured out by the time I get back. Maybe we should let the yorkies talk and not the humans. LOL

| My post had really nothing to do with the imaginary award. I said that in my last post. I think it was a cute idea and I voted. My post had everything to do with the politics on this board. I dont feel I insulted anyone but the people for which it was intended and it really wasnt an insult anyway, more of an observation. There are some people who are very nice and apparently havent been pmd or are just smart enough to know how this sort of thing works. I was not including everyone just the few who do this kind of thing. Sorry if you took it personally. |

| I am not sure I understand all of this. I dont understand this donut thing. I am also not sure if I am one of the 'bad new members'. I sorta take everything personally. I know I talk too much, but overall I have thought this was fun. I do have new babies, which is why I found this forum, to get ideas and advice for what has been a stressful time for me. I am not trying to sell them, I am probably going to keep them all (except one I promised to my friend). I would even be an indian giver for that one if I was like that, cause I want it too. I don't think it hurts anyone to hear opinions, even if you don't agree - or if it is wrong. That is where corrections can be made. Now that we have internet, we have the world at our fingertips. I can remember not so long ago when that was not the case. Research was more than typing a few 'key words', and you only had you 'often misinformed friends' to give you advice. Which reminds me of how we had babies in the first place. One of my dear friends said a one year old male did not know how to 'do it'. I doubted that, but chose to believe her, cause it was the easiest - not to have to separate the kids. Did I say I talk too much? :zip: I love icons, too - and have been dying to use that one

| I am planning on keeping 4 of the five. Then I will have 6 total. We have a big house, a big yard and two sons who can each have their own (maybe). My husband still isn't convinced, but he is the one who bought my two. He is 6'4" tall, and when he comes home from work, he gets down on his hands and knees and starts talking baby talk. He is starting to make up names for the fat little things, too. I told the kids - just keep quiet about the whole keeping them thing for now.

I think it is so cute to watch a huge man talking baby talk to a tiny little dog. Just let them think it is their idea about keeping the puppies, works every time!!!! |
