| ![]() My skin son just got back from Iraq, after a year tour. He comes to visit to see 3 furbabies I make over totally. He says the money I spend on them should be going for my grand baby. I told him I do plenty for her & not to worry. I told him these are the kids I never had. He laughs and says, they are dogs, not kids. He doesn't understand at all. He's a grown man with a family. I told him you spend your money the way you want, & I don't ask what you do with it. It's none of your business how I spend mine. After all I helped him through college. These ARE my babies, and they don't go without. Just love them to death.

| ![]() If your psyhco we all are. I didnt get to have animals growing up and lost the abillity to have any children with my second husband and he has always had animals (Farm Boy) 35 years together and there has always been furbabies in our life. It has been so cold here this winter I worry about my outside animals and have told my hubby if the neigbors wouldnt commit me everyone would have a winter coat.LOL I never thought I could fall in love with my hubby anymore than I already do but when I showed him the little wedding pictures and he oohed and aahed like all of us I just melted all over again. My Max and my hubby are my life and we will find Max a "WIFE" These little sweeties are so amazing that they can take the place of skinbabies for people who dont have children or add to the joy of your own children. They are angels from above. I will have a Yorkie in my life till I die and then will see my babies in heaven. They are amazing. |

| ![]() I don't think you are psycho at all. I just recently got my chocolate yorkie Cocoa (about 4 weeks ago) and I am already attached to him and him to me, lol. I am 19 years old and a college student and I plan to go to Law School so, I have decided it would be best to wait and have kids after law school. I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and sometimes I think I can't wait that long to have kids! Now that I have Cocoa, its like I have a little baby and I just love him so much and I think about him ALL day long! I feel like his momma and I think he will keep me satisfied about not having kids for awhile?if all of that makes sense! I have been thinking that maybe when he gets a little older he needs a brother too (yorkie that is) ![]() |

| ![]() After raising 6 sons, I decided to start over with daughters. I already had a Chihuahua who was almost 14 years old when I decided I wanted a Yorkie girl. Got Zada and five months later I thought she needed a buddy, so we got Azrael. They are truly my "kids" and my boys just chuckle at how I love and take care of them as if they are skin kids. THey have a doggie duffle that we pack up when we go for a few days or longer and soon as they see it they start jumping up and down. I decided on buying a bike to help me lose a few pounds I've added this winter and the thought of leaving the girls in the house was not a pleasant feeling, so I decided to buy a basket to attach to the bike so they can go too. Then while looking at all the bikes with all those gears and wires, I decided the basket wont fit on those handle bars, so I bought a classic bike. No gears, long handle bars, big white wall tires, fenders and bell. ![]() |

| ![]() Thank goddess! I just got my new baby this past Saturday and I'm right here with you all. My son moved out in December and this little heartbeat is filling that void to over flowing. I've always had animals of all kinds. I have never let a dog sleep on my bed. heck, even my cats aren't allowed up around my head or pillows. This one---he sleeps curled into my neck all night long. So I guess I'm a card carring crazy as well. ![]() |

| ![]() Thanks for the reality check everyone! I guess I'm in good company! I work from home and right now my little sweetheart is snoozing on my lap. This morning I just got a shipment of Nylabone dental bones (I buy them by the dozen because he will only chew on one "bulb" of the four on the bone and thus goes through them very[/U] quickly) and his first two pairs of doggy pajamas. He has a snuggle bed in my office, one in the family room and one in the kitchen, not to mention a bin full of toys, including not one but two Kongs. His wardrobe includes three coats, two turtleneck sweaters, several shirts and T-shirts and a hoodie or two. He has his own Tweetie Bird newsboy bag for traveling and his own carseat. He even has health insurance. I clean him up each night with baby wipes before I put him to bed (he has an etablished bedtime so that mommy can have a couple of hours of peace!) and he sleeps like an angel through the night in his comfy crate. Mmmmm. Sounds a bit like every one-year-old! ![]()

| ![]() You're absolutely not alone. I have a son and daughter, both grown and married, and I was feeling depressed ever since my daughter married. When we got Pookie, I thought she would be adorable, but she is way beyond that for me. I am dilerious about her, she pulled me out of my depression, and my husband is head-over-heels. He is with her all day since he is retired and I work, and she is his little shadow. He is on the same wave length with her and yesterday when he was called in to work (he has an occasional on-call job) and we had to take her to doggie daycare, he worried about her all day, and called me right after work when I'd picked her up to see how she was doing. We call ourselves "Mommy" and "Daddy" when we refer to each other in front of her. My daughter refers to her as "my sister". We have all completely gone over the edge since she came into our lives. | ![]() Everyone other than my b/f thinks I'm psycho. He's the only one that knows how much she means to me and what she's brought into my life. But no one sees her like I do. She's my child she's my everything. I would jump infront of a bus to save her life. Many people think I'm psycho and "IT'S JUST A DOG" speech drives me insane, but I just ignore it and figure that they are just jealous ![]()
