You know the reason I said that was because it always best to take the puppies to the vet for a checkup prior to selling them. Don't you think??

Well I guess you could take them to the vet before you sell them but you never know when your going to sell them so maybe not. Should they be vet checked? I think most all people will have their puppies vet checked at some point. But like I said lots of people that raise pups have some kind of back ground in the animal care industry.

I'm all for hearing 2 sides to the story Mr. Moore. But - I do wonder....if there are no sick dogs - then who were all the people making calls and sending emails to Fox (see below) after they aired the show with the same compaints ?

Well despite what you got sued over you can't possibly think it's ok to sell 1200 puppies and that was just with one person that was helping you and you said you had more!:eek: I do think if your story is true about this woman that she is wrong and needs to be punished as well but honestly have you ever heard of Karma (what goes around comes around)? Sounds like you got screwed just like you have done to many other people. You can't say you didn't know the dogs were sick and if you really didn't know you are ignorant! What about the dog who was sick and returned to you and you resold it a week later? It's one thing to have a ton of dogs that you breed but it's another to treat people they way you have. So i am assuming because you go to Ireland a lot that you also have a mill there to and one in England so you must sell thousands and thousands of dogs a year i just hope you can sleep at night knowing what you do for a living and one day it will come back to haunt you!

I am not understanding why the jury would award her over 100k for selling breeding rights without your permission. That doesnt make sense to me. I agree she is a loser if that is what she was doing and it does seem like all was hunkey dorey until you put the kabash on her importing dogs and making such a huge profit. She sounds like a real winner. I think what you are doing with importing all of those dogs from other counties is wrong but she doesnt sound much better. I do think you should stick up for yourself and talk to the media. So far we have only heard one side of the story and you are the only one that can answer for the allegations against you. If you are innocent, then tell us.
As far as the rest of us doing the same thing you are but on a smaller scale is pretty funny. We have the dogs in our house, they are our pets and loved dearly. I probably sell 8 dogs a year, no comparison to 1500 or however many you sell. More like tens of thousands if you are selling to these puppymills like this lady. I dont have the money to even fly to Ireland to visit, let alone make numerous trip there to bring dogs back to sell for a profit. I also have a full time job, do you, or is all of your money coming from these puppies?

Sounds to me like that lady (mallory) is not any better than moore is, BOTH are in the wrong for what they are doing and did. Its puppymill VS. puppymill thats all thats about, who can get the most money out of it all. I feel sorry for all the thousands of puppies that are involved in this black market. And the people (moore, mallory, and whoever else involved) are just GREEDY MONEY hungry individuals. The real breeders have there pets as family members and treat them that way not like somekind of zoo animal confined to a cage for the rest of its life pumping out puppies left and right, and no it doesn't matter how clean and how cool and how elegant and state of the art your facility is....THE PUPPIES ARE STILL SICK.

No wonder I've been inundated with email and calls on Brushy Creek. The ratings for the time period when our story aired were very good. More than 200,000 people were watching that story in the Houston area. That does not include people who watched the report on our website.
