I have not had a chance to read all the posts today but I want to pass along some information some of you may be wondering about. If we interviewed you (like woofshepherd), then you will be in our next story that could air within a week or two.

Since last night's story aired, we are being bombarded with calls and emails from more people who want to tell us about a bad experience with Brushy Creek. Frankly, I've been doing this for a long time and I've never seen so many people who want to go on the record to complain about a business. Not even from large corporations that have millions of customers like Exxon, General Electric or utility companies or the postal service. Who would think that such a response could come from just one little business in Hockley, Texas? Amazing.

Our next report will deal more on the emotional and financial toll on some of Brushy Creek's customers. We may or may not have time to include comments from law enforcement, district attorney's office and Humane Society. Part three of our report could come sooner rather than later.

Also, I did see a post by Dobiedude from early today or yesterday that was on the money (I know some of you might find it hard to believe). He ventured to guess that last night's story was short and limited in scope because we just wanted to get the story on the air before anyone else. That's pretty much correct. We know of at least two other media outlets working on this story. We wanted to put something on the air as soon as possible to claim the story as ours. That way our marketing people can use phrases such as "first on fox." We knew that the portion of our story involving the civil case was thoroughly researched, documented and ready for air. I don't mind competition at all but we like to be first in this business.

:bravo: I'll be adding feedback because what you did IS amazing ...Thank you all so much for airing this story and taking the time to even listen to what's been a long ongoing problem for dogs and people alike.

but how sad on the many emails and phone calls - it's worse than I even thought at Brushy Creek Kennels....I had no idea there would be this kind of reaction but all I can say is WAY TO GO FOX NEWS ! It may go National but this is YOUR story and you deserve all the credit.

You've been so great about all this - the report - posting the updates - the links etc & exposing what seems to be a worse problem than originally thought ......

I just want to say again how proud of you I am for bringing this to the attention of Houston and surrounding areas - and now the whole country with your investigation. YOU should be proud of yourself for what you've done for the future of countless dogs.:thumbup:

Did you also hear that the vet stated the animal had been brought in the week before by another person it had been sold to? Again, as I stated in a previous post, you are simply being contentious. It wouldn't matter what was presented, you would try to find some way to invalidate it. Admit it...you just like to argue and you have found the perfect place for it because these folks feel so deeply about what is being investigated. If David Moore himself admitted all was true, you would seek a way to invalidate his statements as well.

You just aren't the type of person who can readily admit that they have been proven wrong, as you have. You would rather keep the argument going so that you can continue to derive the pleasure you find in being argumentative.

I watched report online and left feedback! Thank you so much for bringing this heartbreaking topic to the general public. I really hope it educates people to start questioning where their puppies and kittens are coming from. I will be watching for upcoming reports!

Even though others (news stations) are doing a story, you at Fox 26 deserve ALL the credit and acknowledgement. I am looking forward to all the other parts of this story, you are truely doing a wonderful thing, for the people and the dogs. :)
