Whomever has done the better job is moot at this point. He has been exposed and facts have been validated. That inside edition found those animals in the condition that they were in is justification for every slam I have heard on this website. It is obvious that most all the folks here are animal advocates and have desired that this exposure occur to benefit the animals. Some are more angry than others, depending on whether they were a victim of his duplicity or not. Now, if the outcome of all this creates a better future for these animals, then well done!!

David Moore has fought the fight of a man codemned. Justly condemned, it appears to me. He proably has no shame for the atrocities he has committed. I, for one, am ashamed OF him as a fellow human. These babies deserve to be treated with love and respect as they are live and feeling. Why, my little Sassy is so tenderhearted!! I don't think she could have survived those conditions and am thankful that every day she feels loved and cared for and thusly, returns those same feelings to me. While I may not be able to communicate with her in my language, she communicates to me in her language. And it is a wondorous and awesome feeling. That they can give such happoiness to us means that we owe them...to keep them safe and healthy and happy in return.

For the offenses that he has committed against these animals, David Moore is a maggoty human being. Rotten to the core. In my opinion, mind you.

I agree. The dogs deserve way better than this and so do the people who buy them. I felt so bad seeing that little schnauser female so neglected - but felt worse for the people who had to go thru getting a new puppy only to watch it suffer in sickness & They DO suffer ...:(

Judging from the BIG stack of complaints the BBB woman had when they interviewed her - maybe something WILL be done now

Oh I hope they do something and quick I hope someone out there that has been watching and maybe reading all of this will take action. I hope that the outcome of all this leads to the confiscating of the poor dogs and puppies. They deserve a whole lot better life than that. Pretty much this is what I want the outcome of this all to be..

INSIDE EDITION also spoke to Lisa Bushman, a Houston area breeder who used to be in business with Moore. Bushman says he sold her dozens of sick dogs. She sued him and won a nearly $350,000 judgment.

She says Moore would knowingly ship sick dogs to families with kids. "He brags about the fact that once they have the puppy they're not gonna bring it back because it's gonna break the kids' heart," she told INSIDE EDITION

I just saw it. So Mr. Moore.. where's your explanation now? Did Inside Edition just make up the fact that they bought a dog from you that was SICK and OLDER THAN LISTED on your site? What about the schnauzer with the filthy fur and nails that haven't ever been clipped? What? You can't afford to bathe them or clip their nails with all the money you're making selling their sick offspring? You disgust me, and I hope you go out of business and these dogs find their way to LOVING HOMES.

Sorry that I've been out of pocket. Haven't had much time away from my research lately. We are right in the middle of the big February ratings period (also known as "sweeps"), so things are crazy right now. But I thought I would post in the wake of Inside Edition's story.

I thought it was an excellent story on a national stage. With the national Humane Society involved in their report, we plan to pursue that angle locally. We have already taped several new interviews and plan to air the next part of our series within ten days or so. I wish we had time to interview every person who has emailed or called me with these appalling stories. That is why we are producing more stories for this report. The response has been overwhelming. I will let everyone know as soon as there's a concrete date.

More info on Inside Edition: While it was a comprehensive report that lasted at least 3 or 4 minutes (an eternity in the news business), I know for a fact that time constraints forced them to leave a lot of their stuff on the cutting room floor. Ordinarily, it would be a real risk to attempt to have a dog shipped to a news organization. Here's why: Obviously, if 20% of the dogs shipped from a kennel are sick or dying, that would be way too many and newsworthy. A news organization cannot afford to keep ordering dogs until they get a sick one. It would be time-consuming and expensive. Their producer learned from research (as I did) that such an incredible percentage of dogs from Brushy Creek are shipped in poor condition, that they would only have to purchase one dog to prove their point. They KNEW that they would be getting a dog in horrendous condition and not the age promised. These are the same complaints I have heard over and over and over and over. As those of you who were approached by Inside Edition know, there was much more behind the story that they simply couldn't fit in the report.

How bad serious is the Brushy Creek situation? In Houston, we air our biggest stories from around southeast Texas on the news during February sweeps. Inside Edition is in the same boat. The difference: They pick from the biggest stories from across the country and they deemed the Brushy Creek Kennel to be important enough to tell during this time of year. When the ratings come in, 5 million people will have seen the story on Inside Edition. That's a powerful platform. If anyone has the ability to capture the video to a weblink, I suggest they do it. and you're right ...it was amazing they sold a sick puppy to Inside Edition but didn't surprise me either - thanks to you ..maybe it will stop or at least get better for the dogs and people who buy them.

If anything - people will be alot more aware that just seeing a cute puppy on the net does NOT mean that's what you'll actually get when dealing with some breeders...especially a place that has 10 different websites and sells hundreds of dogs.
