How is everybody with their teapot yorkies? Took Molly in for her weigh in last week and she's now tipping the scales at 17lb! We have a few tiny yorkies living near us and she looks like a giant next to them ha. The only problem is most people don't believe she is a full yorkie because of her size

Keep in mind, that they are making Lo Calorie Tea and Crumpets now. That, and lots of exercise will keep your Fuzwhopper in good shape

Hi,
How do you become a member of the Teapot club?
I have a yorkie, Shiba who is 14.4lbs, not fat I swear. I put a picture of her on the health and diet forum. I will put one here too. Her parents were a 6lb Yorkshire terrier (mom) and a 5lb Biewer yorkie (dad).
I see other "real" Yorkies, lol and think to myself she doesn't look very much like them.

Weight: (minimum of 7.1 lbs / 3.1 kg)(no maximum)

A Brief Description: (of the applicant’s demeanor/disposition)
and any other related comment you would like to give.
(preferred but not a requirement)(grandiose bragging is permitted)

Note:
There is no actual Application Form, please use/follow the above list to apply, and...
There is no limit to how many applications can be rendered from a single household,
but the above information is needed for each applicant.

I need to get my Minnie Bear in this club, posthumously:

Name: Minnie
Age: Don't know; we rescued her 8 years ago after her owners moved away and abandoned her in the yard; we guess she was about 5 when we got her
Weight: Varied between 11-12 lbs or so
A Brief Description: Minnie loved hunting birds and squirrels, and caught them plenty of times. She hated cats and other dogs but loved butt-scratches and jumping from the couch to the recliner to the love seat and back. She was ridiculously athletic. I saw this little dog clear a 30 inch jump one time; I would have never believed she could do it without seeing it with my own two eyes. She enjoyed giving kisses and horseplay. She didn't really like toys; why shake a stuffed animal in your mouth when you can run out back and shake a live dove instead for a nice snack?

A Brief Description:
We got Shiba at about 10 weeks old. We picked her from a litter because we liked her long legs (that should have told us something)! She is truly a happy, sweet dog. No snippy or defensive behavior, she loves every single person she meets. She is not at all a lap dog and actually if she is sitting next to me and I pet her too much she will leave yet she follows me room to room and is my constant companion. She loves long walks so we typically walk a mile to a mile and a half on nice days. She loves us all but is pretty attached to me and my hubby says when I leave she lays by the door and waits and won't give him the time of day. She won't walk with anyone else either, especially if I am home. She will lay down on the cement and refuse to go on, to the great frustration of my daughter. She will however gladly play fetch with anyone in the family.

Update... Charlies last weigh in was 13 lbs. Or 12.7 to be exact. Although we are working to drop a little of that because he's a little heaver than he should be. Trying to knock off a pound.

We are all so very sorry to hear of Minnie Bear's passing.
I don't recall a posthumous application ever being rendered, but will confer with the President and Council concerning this.
We're looking forward to your Cookie Monster growing up !

he loves to chase everything out of the yard and off the bike path behind our backyard. He loves toys with speakers and loves to kill them and lives to run around the house at a full run . He loves to give lots of Yorkie kisses
