Application for Membership--YT TEAPOT Club

Well I guess we qualify for the Teapot club!! Crickett weighed 8lbs at her 4.5month vet visit. She will get spayed on April 1 and I am curious as to how much she will weigh then. Her mom was 10lbs, dad was 4lbs. So she is just going to be like her mom and be a big gal. She will actually be bigger than her mom I would think. Glad there are lots of others out there!! You all are just so cute. More Yorkie loving to go around, whether you are big or small they hold a special place in our hearts. You just can't beat having a Yorkie to love.

I'm soooo glad I found this page although I had to laugh out loud at the term "tea pot yorkie"!!!! Only knew about tea cups. Sure, it's not an official term but still pretty funny. My Walker is not even 4 months old and weighs in at 5 pounds. I didn't think he'd get that big (parents are 4 and 5 pounds) but whatever....he's healthy, happy and we love him no matter how big he'll get.
So,........is there another "class" above tea pot or is this pretty much it?

well, there are some real heavyweights,, 15-18 lb Yorkies,, they call themselves CROCKPOTS!!

Banjo is 9#'s at 6 months! Vet thinks he is done growing , so guess he will not bea crockpot!!
We need a chart for weights for teapots,crockpots, and what ever other tems they are out there!!

Can my Brutis join- he weighs 9 1/2lbs. and no fat. just long. He is my gentle giant. lets my other babies gang up on him- he actually lays down in the floor so the can attack him he is my first yorkie.

Mine was a "surprise". I was told the parents were 4 and 5 pound so I didn't expect my puppy to be approaching the Tea-Pot category.... But he's so darn cute....I don't really care anymore and I was told by my vet that the extremely small Yorkies can have serious health problems. Sure, he's almost 6 pounds at 4 months but so what...

we knew that Samson was going to be bigger because he was larger than his brother and sister. But his mom is only 5 lbs and his dad is only 3 lb. so we thought at the most he'd be at the high end of 'standard'. Well at 6 mos he is now 7 lbs. With some more growing to do, he's definately going to fit in this teapot club nicely!

LOL You hope he stopped growing! Buddy weighed 8 lbs at six months and
continued gaining until he was 1yr weighing 13lbs at one year. He's very
muscular and solid much like a bull dog Between 1-3yrs. he gained another 2lbs making his total weight today 15lbs

Well its official! Pepper is applying for membership in the teapot club. At 22 wks Pepper weighs in at 8lbs and 5 oz!! What do we have to do to apply?? Is there a signature for the signature line

Hey - I'd like to join as well, I have Chewy at 12 lbs and Choupette at 8 lbs, which leaves out my little one who only weighs 4.5 lbs - so I feel I have all sizes and I'm loving it. When they stand side by side (almost always by size order) they make the funniest trio!!
